Trucking in Oak Hill and a member of the Jones Avenue First Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, C.E. "Red" Williams; a son, Kenneth Dooley; a sister, Evelyn Stevens; and six brothers, Ralph, Arnold, Leslie, Mart, Basil and Lewis Epperly. Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Blackwell Lipsett of Hephzibah, Ga; a son, Jerry L. Dooly of Oak Hill; two sisters, Anna Lee Elkins of Fayetteville and Arvella Carey of Sidney, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Gay, Lincoln Holstine, J. H. Pryor and Blanche Martin. on August 13, 1934.3

Josephine is survived by daughters, Carla Jeanne Morgan of Chesapeake, and Amanda Leigh Morgan of Fayetteville, N.C. Her grandson, Bryan David Morgan of Chesapeake, was her best friend and caregiver. She is also survived by her brother, David Foster of Portsmouth, Va; and her sisters, Gypsy Daniels of Stickney, and Emily Duncan of Annandale, Va. Josephine served Kanawha County and Chesapeake 53 years as a poll clerk for precinct No. 149 and was active in the Republican Party. She was a member of Chelyan Chapter No. 101, Order of the Eastern Star, and served as Worthy Mother Advisor of Chelyan Assembly No. 5, Order of Rainbows for Girls. Visitation for family, friends, and neighbors will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2006. Eastern Star service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, during the visitation. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, with Pastor Bernard Toppings and the Rev. Damron Bradshaw officiating. Burial services will follow in Glasgow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens in the Lincoln Memorial Chapel No. 1. Fidler & Frame Funeral Home at 1126 East Dupont Ave. in Belle is in charge of arrangements.
