She is survived by her daughter, Glenna and her husband, Maynard Sutphin of Pulaski; sister, Barbara Whitt of Alabama; granddaughter, Tamara Sutphin of Pulaski; and grandsons, Steven Sutphin and his wife, Caroline of Kentucky, Brian Whitt and his wife, Alicia of Alabama; two great grandsons, Ike and Zeke of Alabama; foster son Harvey Bowles of Dublin; and sister-in-law, Eleanor Whitlock of Floyd. Also survived by special friends, Janice Breedlove and Bobby Morefield. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2017 at Seagle Funeral Home with the Rev. Judy Yonce officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Mrs. Jamison was a long time dedicated member of Boones Mill Baptist Church, where she was active with the Friendship Club. She was also a member of the Willing Workers Quilters Circle of the Antioch Church of the Brethren. Surviving are seven children (three by Edward D. Stanley), Thomas L. and Reva Stanley, of Mineral, Janet S. Thompson of Roanoke, Reba S. and Fred Campbell of Daleville, (four children by Dennis N. and Katherine S. Jamison), Donald R. Jamison of Richmond, Joel D. and Carroll Jamison of Richmond, Rita Kay and Ron Martin of Vinton, Timothy O. and Robin Jamison of Rock Hill S.C; ten grandchildren, Edd L. Stanley and Jeanette S. and Randy Brewer, Michael M. and Sophia Thompson, Jennifer L. Thompson, Jeffrey D. Jamison, Melissa J. Jamison, Kristena D. and Gary Lee, Gregory L. Martin, Olivia D. Jamison and Ross C. Jamison; three great-grandchildren, Erin E. Brewer, Nathan T. Brewer, and Lauren L. Lee; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel, 11 a.m. Monday, with Rev. James Steele officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. The family suggest memorials be made to Boones Mill Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Flora Funeral Service, S. Main St., Rocky Mount. on August 15, 1998.1
