"Eliza" Conner, daughter of Samuel Conner, on November 24, 1857 at Terre Haute, Vigo Co., Indiana.2,5,6 Cyrus Knapp died on April 30, 1913 at Terre Haute, Vigo Co., Indiana, at age 80.4,5,8,7 He The death of Cyrus Knapp, 81 years old, which occurred at 6:15 o'clock Wednesday morning, of paralysis, at his home, 341 North Thirteenth street, removed from the living one of Terre Haute's best known pioneer citizens. Mr. Knapp was born in New Jersey, May 28, 1832, and came to Terre Haute in 1852 and followed the trade of brick mason until 1873, when he became superintendent and general manager of the "Steam Brick" factory, which latter position he held for fifteen years. He enlisted in Company K, Thirty-first Indiana volunteer infantry, and served throughout the civil war. He was also one of the oldest members of No. 51, I.O.O.F., having entered that order in 1857, and of the Morton Post, G.A.R. He was married twice, his first wife being Miss Eliza Conner, whom he married in 1857 and who died in 1864. His second wife was Miss Laura Estes, whom he married in 1887, who lived but one year. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Alice Carrithers; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, all of this city; and two sisters, Mrs. Eva Roulet, of Wichita, Kan., and Mrs. Kate Guise, of Gt. Barrington, Conn. Funeral arrangements have not been made. (in the next days edition of the paper it was announced that his funeral would be held Friday afternoon at his residence and burial would follow in Woodlawn cemetery) on April 30, 1913.5

R. 5, Terre Haute. He is survived by the widow, Rose, and several nephews and nieces. The body was taken to Gillis Memory Chapel and this morning was returned to the residence. Services will be at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Seelyville Methodist Church and burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church at 12:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon from the residence. on December 28, 1949.5

Conner and Mary Ripley, on October 31, 1880 at Terre Haute, Vigo Co., Indiana.2,7 William Schwartz died on March 20, 1920 at Terre Haute, Vigo Co., Indiana, at age 60.4,5 He William Schwartz, 61 years old, died suddenly from heart trouble at the family home, 625 South Twenty-fifth street, at 5 o'clock Saturday Evening. His wife preceded him just five months. The decedent is survived by three sons, John, Charles, and Lloyd; two daughters, Mrs. Emma Branstetter amd Mrs. John Schwartz, and two sisters, Mrs. Albert Metey, and Mrs. Joseph Manus, and three brothers Charles, of Cincinatti; Albert, of Moline, Ill, and John, of Terre Haute. The funeral will be held at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon with burial in Highland Lawn cemetery. on March 21, 1920.4
