Willis of Easton, Pa; two brothers-in-law, Claude R. Collins of Roanoke and Clyde E. Collins of Christiansburg, Va; and several cousins. Mr. Willis served the following United Methodist Churches: Grace, Zion Grace, Christ in Norfolk, Va., Bassett Memorial in Bassett, Va., Main Street in South Boston, Va., Haygood in Virginia Beach, Va. After his retirement, he was Assistant Pastor of St. Paul, Christiansburg, Va. Funeral services will be conducted at Oakey's North Chapel, 6732 Peters Creek Road, NW, Roanoke, on Monday, December 16, 2002, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Roy P. White officiating. A graveside service will be held in Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg, Va. on Tuesday, December 17, 2002, at 1 p.m. His desire was to be cremated. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Roanoke United Methodist Home Samaritan Fund, 1009 Old Country Club Road, NW, Roanoke, Va. 24017 or to a favorite charity. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Oakey's North Chapel and Crematory (362-1237). on December 13, 2002.⁸

She is survived by two daughters, Joann E. Britt of Christiansburg; Mrs. Ward (Dolly) Harmon of Bassett; one son, Bobby W. Jones of Riner; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 3, 1992, at 11:00 a.m. at Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Thomas officiating. Interment will in in White Oak Grove Church Cemetery. Friends may call after 12:00 noon Friday where the family will be from 7:00 to 9:00 that evening at Gardner Funeral Home, Floyd. on October 2, 1992.¹
