Born at Macajah, he was a son of Velma Poff Graham Hylton of Charlotte, N.C., and the late Stacy Arron Graham. He was a member of the Rosalind Hills Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He worked most of his life in Wyoming County as a coal miner and later moved to Roanoke, Va., where he worked in the construction industry until his retirement. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in World War II. He received the American Defense & Bronze "A” Medal, the American Area Medal, the Victory World War II Medal, the European African Area & 1 Star Medal, the Asiatic Pacific Area & 10 Stars Medal, and two Purple Hearts. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Preston Graham. Survivors: sons, Stephen Graham of Roanoke, David Graham of Crab Orchard, Kenneth Graham of Sugarland, Texas and Stacy Graham of Rosemond, Calif; daughter, Dana Titta of Moore, S.C; brothers. Basil Graham of Roanoke and Kenneth Graham of Charlotte; sister, Lorrine Kleim of Charlotte; 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel in Princeton with the Rev. Ronald Adkins officiating. Burial will be at the Resthaven Memorial Park in Princeton. on November 5, 1993.6

Services will be at Oakey's South Chapel 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 12, 1998. Pastor David Fraser and Pastor Andy Berkner will officiate. Interment will follow in Sherwood Burial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel after 12 noon Tuesday. on February 10, 1998.1
