Bailey; loving children, a daughter, Cherie Leary and husband, Bob of Salem, a son, John Earl Bailey, Jr. of Roanoke; three devoted and loving step-daughters, Debbie Manning and fianc, Ron Groves of Virginia Beach, Sharon Fahey and her husband, Michael of Sterling, Carol Paxton and her husband, Chris of Roanoke; a grandson, Michael Fahey, II; three granddaughters, Jennifer Decker and her husband, Russ, Lisa Crain and Lori Raymond and husband, Charles; six great-granddaughters; two great-grandsons; sisters, Frances (Nita) Fekas and husband, Alex and Jean P. Blankenship and husband, Oakley; numerous nephews and nieces; three devoted friends, Cathy Chapman, Gus Vandergrift and Marvin Franck and wife, Pat; and special neighbors, Gloria and Stan Mooney. Funeral services will be at 12 noon Saturday, February 21, 2004 from Oakey's North Chapel. Pastor David Fraser will officiate. Interment will be in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens.
