Spangler; a son and daughter-in-law, Ralph N. and Essie Spangler of Roanoke; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Robert (Bob) Cole of Salem; a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday from the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Ray Penn, with interment in Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad, Box 176, Christiansburg, Va. 24073. Friends may call after noon Thursday at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home on February 15, 1996.5

Carr, all of Roanoke; five greatgrandchildren, Tyler, Mikaela and Hannah Krista, Nicole Hayes and Xavier Carr; sister, Gertrude Jennings of Fayetteville, W.Va; numerous nieces and nephews and a brother-in-law, V.T. Carr and wife, Ruth of Abingdon. Memorials may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church, 845 Hemlock Rd., Salem, Va. 24153. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 16, 2007, at Calvary United Methodist Church. The Rev. Emory Tarpley and the Rev. David Boger will officiate. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, 982-2100. on April 13, 2007.7
