Joe was a master gardener taking pride in his ability to raise flowers and vegetables to sell at the Farmer's Market in Princeton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby "Margaret" Skeens Terry on Oct. 3, 1978; two sisters, Aileen Sprinkle and Martha Fitzwater; three brothers, Woodrow Terry, Charlie Terry and George "Phil" Terry; and a half brother, Mack Hudson. Survivors include three sons, Bobby Joe Terry, Jimmy Terry, and Bobby Wayne Terry all of Princeton; five daughters, Rita Terry of the home, Peggy Terry of Kentucky, Holly Roark of Princeton, Candy Terry of Oakvale and April Terry of Kentucky; 13 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007 at the G.E. Davis Chapel of Fredeking Funeral Service in Oakvale with Pastor Delmar Stilwell officiating. Burial will follow at the Brown Cemetery in Hardy with the WV National Guard Honor Team conducting military graveside rites.
