Survivors: wife, Billie Overstreet Gore; sister, Mary Thorp of Greensboro, N.C; nieces, Elizabeth Montgomery and Christy Beckner both of Greensboro; nephew, David Montgomery of San Francisco, Calif. The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at George W. Seaver Funeral Home Chapel at Princeton with the Rev. Harry Christie officiating and burial at Monte Vista Park Cemetery at Green Valley. on December 17, 1989.6

Dr. Paul Gore, 33, a Princeton osteopath, and J. G. Rose. 62, of Bluefield, died in a Bluefield hospital early today soon after the accident on the Bluefield-Princeton road. Slate police said the mishap occurred at the top of a hill, and the vision of both drivers was impaired by the heavy rain. Rose's daughter, Mrs. W. T. Bailey, Jr., 24, was injured critically while his son-in-law, W. T. Bailey, Jr, 29, and granddaughter, Mary Frances Bailey, 2, suffered minor hurts. Dr. Gore was traveling alone, while Rose and the others were en route from New Hope to Bluefield. Dr. Gore recently was given an honorable discharge from the army. Rose was a retired Norfolk and Western railway engineer. on June 8, 1943.9

Bonnie held 13 very special grandchildren close to her heart. They are Cindy Shepard, Rebecca Mathis, Katie Adkins, and Kristina Maynard of Prichard, Natashia Shepard of Wayne, Amanda Doss, Holly Doss, and Timmy Doss Jr. of Fort Gay, Stephen Shepard, C.J. Shepard, and Nathan Shepard of Fort Gay, John Blake and Tristan Shepard of Prichard. She was also a second mother to nieces, Tammy Gibson and Denise Calhoun of Ceredo and 15 other special nieces and nephews. She is the loving daughter-in-law of Sybil Pettrey of Princeton, W.Va., and sister-in-law of Jerlene and Charlie Harvey of Princeton, W.Va. She was a caring sister to two brothers and three sisters, Lindel Bowen of Branchland, Limuel (Sonny Boy) and Doris Bowen of Branchland, Darlene and Don Childers of Branchland, Romaine and Ray Wantowski of Branchland, and Geneva (Turtle) and Walter Burgess of Branchland. She had one uncle, Jarrett Porter Jr. of Detroit, Mich. Bonnie also left behind a very dear and special lifetime best friend, Connie Blake. Any woman can be a mother, but it takes someone special to be a mommy, and she was a mommy to all who wanted or cared for her motherly advice, comfort, and guidance. Eugene Wiley, 60, of Crestview Drive, (Hillcrest) Princeton, a prominent church, community, and business leader, has died. Born Sept. 14, 1934, at Tophet, W.Va., he was the son of the late Ernest Marcus and Lois Perdue Wiley. Mr. Wiley graduated from Union High School, attended Concord College in Athens, and finished his studies at McClain Business College in Bluefield. He served his country during the Korean conflict with the U.S. Army. Mr. Wiley began his banking career with the Bank of Athens, accepting a position with Mercer County Bank in Princeton, which later became One Valley Bank, where he retired as Vice-President with more than 33 years of service. He was a member of the W.Va. Bankers Association and other professional groups. Gene Wiley was a devoted and dedicated Christian, an active member for many years with the Immanuel Baptist Church on New Hope Road, Princeton. He was serving as the chairman of Deacons, a member of the choir, taught Sunday school, was assistant treasurer of the church, and served on various committees within the church. He also served on the Board of Trustees for the Carroll Roberson's Ministries. Mr. Wiley was a member for many years and held various offices for the Gideon's International and the Princeton Camp number 4712. Mr. Wiley was a devoted husband, brother, uncle, and a caring friend to many people. He gave much of his time to others. When time would allow, he loved to garden and was an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Nace Wiley. He is survived by his loving, caring, and devoted wife of 47 years, Lyndall Honaker Wiley; six brothers and sisters, Edna Mae Burwell of Sinks Grove, Polly Plunkett of Lake Worth, Fla., Rhonda Hylton of White Sulphur Springs, Joe Wiley of Ronceverte, Trixie Long of Radford, Va., and Charlie Wiley of Covington, Va; brother-in-law, David A. Honaker, Jr. of Alderson; his children, Carmela Shires and Angela McCallister, both of Alderson, and Valerie Honaker of Cary, N.C., whom he loved as his own; and a host of nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. J. Eugene Wiley will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 2003, from the Immanuel Baptist Church on New Hope Road in Princeton with the Reverends Carroll Roberson and Dan Jividen officiating. Burial will follow in the Fletcher Addition of the Alderson Cemetery in Alderson. Friends may call today from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Memorial Funeral Directory on Athens Road in Princeton and one hour prior to services at the church. Pallbearers will be the Deacons of the church, with the members of the Gideon's and Princeton Camp number 4712 serving as Honorary Pallbearers, along with Mr. Jim Thompson and Mr. Jim Miller. on December 19, 2003.2

Lyndall was an active member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Princeton where she previously served as Co-Director of the Children's Church, Church Music Director, Good News Mission/Jail Ministry Volunteer, Assistant Church Pianist and was the Secretary of the Baptist Women. She was also a Committee Member for the Implementation for the Study of the Bible in Mercer County Schools. Lyndall was an excellent cook, enjoyed gardening, staying in top physical condition and was a doting Aunt. Survivors include her loving and caring nieces, Carmela Shires of Alderson, Angela McCallister of Alderson and Valerie L. Honaker of Cary, NC. Great niece and nephew that she deeply adored, Haylee Shires and Tanner McCallister. Special friend, Garnet White of Princeton. Services to celebrate the life of Lyndall Wiley will be held Friday (Today), December 29, 2017 at 1:00 PM from the Immanuel Baptist Church in Princeton with Pastor Dan Jividen officiating. A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, August 9, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Belmont Christians Church officiated by Pastor Jerry Dowdy, Pastor Jim Bayne and Pastor Brandon Craig.
