She is survived by daughter, Karen Edmonds and son-in-law, Don Edmonds; foster daughter, Judy Guilliams; grandchildren, Kelli Moore and husband, Ray Moore, Kimberly Tulou and husband, Paul Tulou, Cory Edmonds and wife, Brittiny Edmonds, and Travis Guilliams (foster); and two greatgrandchildren, Mateo and Daniel Moore; as well as many nieces and nephews and their families. She was a faithful member of Mountain View Primitive Baptist Church for 60 years and attended church throughout her life. She told many stories about going to church in a horse and buggy, often for many miles. She enjoyed sewing and making clothes for her family and herself as long as she was able. She pieced quilts, raised large gardens, preserved food, and handled farm chores. She lived a long life with love for her family, and her brothers and sisters of the Primitive Baptist Church, as well as her nieces and nephews, neighbors, and many attentive and loving caregivers. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at Gardner Funeral Home. Elders Larry Hollandsworth and Junior and W. T. Conner will conduct the service. Interment will follow at Wilson Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday at Gardner Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by Gardner Funeral Home, Floyd. on April 27, 2009.4

Woods, of Salem; and grandchildren, Nona Walker (Larry), of Roanoke, Cynthia Woods, of Salem, Amy Jarich (Peter), of Emeryville, Calif., and Kristin Jones (Will Dinwiddie), of Buckingham. She is also survived by her great- grandchildren, Rebecca Crockett (Robert), Ryan Walker (Charlotte), Emily Walker, Jesse Walker, and Maggie Bargelski; and great- great-grandchildren, Nolan and Lydia Crockett, and Jaycey and Reagan Walker. Graveside Services for family will be held at the Glenmore Methodist Church Cemetery in Buckingham County. The family expresses its sincere thanks to the management and staff at Snyder Nursing Home for the loving care and friendship that they tirelessly provided during Hazel's residence there. on March 12, 2014.2
