Rebecca Sue "Becky" Lancaster Rebecca L. Coleman, Jun 4, 1959 - Aug 21, 2022. Rebecca L. Coleman passed away on August 21, 2022 in Palm Coast, Florida. She liked music and dogs and being a wife and a mother of three. It’s unimaginably difficult to sum up a life like hers in short, but as a child she beat the man she’d one day marry with a purse full of rocks, ran away to Mississippi because she felt like it, got arrested for reasons she never told her kids, got pretty far on her hike of the Appalachian Trail before a murder shut it down, worked as a surgeon for rats, and lied about being able to play the guitar until she got called out one day and then went on to instill the importance of honesty in her offspring. When she wasn’t busy exploring the colors of the world, she loved to try new food, both eating and cooking, and watching Hocus Pocus or reruns of Gunsmoke. Her favorite book was To Kill a Mockingbird, and she exemplified the same fearless kindness and acceptance. During the time we had with her, she was an endless fountain of support, love, understanding, and unapologetic exuberance for life. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Lancaster, Don Brown, and her grandparents. She is survived by her husband Mark Coleman, her mother Lois Lancaster, her brother Michael Lancaster, her daughters Misty Blake, Melody Combs, and Moriah Coleman, her sons-in-law Dylan Blake and Brennan Viet, Davy Combs, and four grandchildren.6 She was born on June 4, 1959 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.1,2,3,4,6 As of December 23, 1979,her married name was Linkous.2 She married Terry Lee Linkous on December 23, 1979 at Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia.2 Rebecca Sue "Becky" Lancaster and Terry Lee Linkous were divorced on April 12, 1984 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.3 As of October 18, 1984,her married name was Moses.2 Rebecca Sue "Becky" Lancaster married Gerald Edward Moses on October 18, 1984 at Blacksburg, Virginia.2 Rebecca Sue "Becky" Lancaster and Gerald Edward Moses were divorced on March 10, 1989 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.3 As of July 13, 1990,her married name was Coleman.2 Rebecca Sue "Becky" Lancaster married Mark Heath Coleman on July 13, 1990 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.5,2,6 Rebecca Sue "Becky" Lancaster died on August 21, 2022 at Palm Coast, Flagler Co., Florida, at age 63.6

Dr. Ezra L. Reed was buried at Logansport State Hospital Cemetery, Logansport, Cass Co., Indiana.5,6 He was born circa 1842 at Indiana.1,7 He married Sarah Jane Fitch on April 22, 1866 at Huntington Co., Indiana.1,2 Dr. Ezra L. Reed died on July 29, 1891 at Logansport, Cass Co., Indiana.5,6 He Word was received here last Thursday by L. R. Fitch of the death of doctor E. L. Reed at the insane hospital at Logansport on Tuesday night before. The information was accompanied by a typewritten statement of the evidence of doctor Joseph G. Rogers, the superintendent of the asylum, before the coroner at the inquest on Wednesday last. It appears that Reed was an incurable maniac, who was at times addicted to very violent and destructive spells and was placed in a ward along with the other inmates of that class. On the night of July 25th, while the attendants were taking their midnight lunch, an inmate of the same ward by the name of Kasch became violent and wrenching loose a bar which fastens the folding doors, began a murderous onslaught on the other occupants of the ward who were asleep in their beds. Before he was secured Reed and two or three other patients were badly beaten about the head and body, but the attending physician did not pronounce their injuries all that serious. Reed, however died on Tuesday night and a cornor's inquest and postmortem examination was held the next day, and Dr. Rogers states that it was disclosed that a badly diseased condition of the heart, which physicians state was the cause of his death and not the beating he received as above stated. By instructions from Mr. Fitch the remains were buried at the asylum. Dr. Reed was a brother of Billy Reed the dray-man in this place, and a brother-in-law of Mr. Fitch. He was sent to the asylum from this county December 24, 1889. Former he had formerly he lived and Huntington and Alan counties where he practiced medicine and in some respects was quite a noted character some years ago. on August 6, 1891.6
