In 1958, Ocie met and married her husband Carl Cliffton Minnix, and went on to have five children. Ocie raised her kids and the joy of her family; all her grandkids meant the world to her. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Carl Minnix; seven brothers; and one sister. Ocie is survived by her children, Vonda Lambert, Ina Headrick, Trenda Minnix, Brenda Minnix, and Walter Minnix; grandkids, Jody Lambert and wife, Sandra, Chris Headricks, Veronica Lambert-Switzer and husband, Trey, Ashley Woolwine, Andrew Minnix, Donnie Woolwine and Alisha Chandler and husband, Brennan; great-grandkids, JoJo Lambert, Christinia Kingery, Destiny Lambert, Joseph Lambert, Carlee Lambert, Johnathaon Lambert, Sean Headrick, Brianna Chandler, Caleb Irby, Caden Irby, Suvannah Sherr, Sebastian Sherr, Levi Trent Aryianna Trent, Cheyenne Weaver, Colton Woolwine; along with five great-great grandkids; brothers, Jack Smith and wife, Yolley, and Clarence Smith and wife, Charlotte.
