Committal service will be at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill. Burial will follow. on March 9, 2011.3

(Bob) Neely, 82, of Oak Hill, loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley following a short illness. Bob was born November 29, 1936, in Conard, WV, to the late Lacy Neely, and Clara Ingles Jones. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Polly Poff Neely of 60-plus years. Those left to cherish his memory include his two daughters, Donna Hodge and husband Ron Hodge of Oak Hill, and Denyse Flint and husband Rick Flint of Fayetteville; granddaughter Heather Hewitt of Oak Hill; family members, and friends. Bob was best known for his work at the City of Oak Hill where he received awards for patrolling the school zones and helping the children and teachers. He will be sadly missed by all. Prior to that he worked for Long-Airdox Company in Oak Hill. Also surviving four children, Dawn Carey and husband, Mark, Sherri Hixson, Scott Holbert and Edwin Holbert Jr; six sisters, Linda Johnson, Vicki Morris, Barbara Myers, Sherry Davis, Joetta Armstrong and Ruth Delozier; two brothers, Richard Poff and Donnie Poff and wife, Gloria; six grandchildren, Chelsea Sturm, Mark Carey II, Stephanie Hixson, Courtney Holbert, Haleigh Hixson and Marissa Carey and three great-grandchildren, Izabella Martinez, Izaac Nevins and Makenna Carey. Reedy; four sons, Daniel L. Robertson, Donald W. Robertson, William C. Robertson, III and Byron A. Robertson all of Englewood, Fla; three sisters, Atheline Evans of Roanoke, Shirley Butler of Richmond and Velma Campbell of Ft. Myers, Fla; two brothers, Frank Radford and Donald Radford both of Roanoke; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 12 noon on Saturday, April 9, 2005, at Oakey's North Chapel. The Rev. Walter Wood and Pastor Jason Forehand will officiate. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Oakey's North Chapel, 362-1237. on April 8, 2005.2
