Lana was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Hazleton. She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, Franklin D. Elswick, who passed away Jan. 4, 2001. Surviving are three sons, Joseph; David and his wife, Maureen, and their daughter, Olivia; and John, all of Dippel Manor. Her funeral will be held with a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on June 13 at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 604 N. Laurel St., Hazleton. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Drums. The family will receive friends at the church June 13 from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association, 71 N. Surviving are two brothers Joseph Elswick; and David Elswick and his wife Maureen; and a niece Olivia Elswick, all of Hazleton; and his companion Mia Sterling, Hazle Township. His funeral will be held Saturday at 8 pm from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East) 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums. Following private cremation, interment of his ashes will take place privately in Calvary Cemetery, Drums. Prior to the service a viewing will take place at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6-8 pm. on November 25, 2010.2
