Wines, 74, of Las Vegas, died Wednesday, May 16, 2007. He was retired from the U.S. Army and served during the Korean and Vietnam wars. He is survived by his son, Joseph, of Las Vegas. Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. Thursday, May 24, and service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 25, both at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway. on May 20, 2007.⁴

Wines, 64, of Las Vegas, formerly of Toledo and Temperance, died March 30 in Las Vegas. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday in Bedford Funeral Chapel, Temperance. The Rev. Daniel Nusbaum of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church will officiate. Born Sept. 11, 1942, in Fort Wayne, Ind., she was the daughter of Chester and Helen (Wilson) Bruzda. She married Samuel L. Wines on May 15, 1965. She was an Avon Lady and also worked at Otto's Variety Store in Trilby, Ohio, and held a position in the post office there. She enjoyed making and selling crafts. Surviving are her husband; a son, Joseph (Mary Beth) of Las Vegas, and three grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation of Northwest Ohio or the American Heart Association. on May 13, 2007.¹

A member of the Sharon Church of God, she was a lifelong resident of Sharon. Surviving: husband, Elmer (Buck) Stone; son, Haven D. Stone of Pratt; daughters, Mrs. Sonja Welch of Miami, Mrs. Beanna Combs of South Charleston, Mrs. Trini Whited of, Marmet, Mrs. Barbara D. Brewer and Mrs. Linda Coley of Sharon; mother, Mrs. Mamie Keeney of Sharon; brother, Ray Keeney of Sharon; sisters; Mrs. Christine Roach of Sharon, Mrs. Zelphia Neal of Miami, Mrs. Shelby Bowyer of Chesapeake. Service will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Sharon Church of God with the Rev. John Bowen and the Rev. Joseph Baldwin officiating. Burial will be in Montgomery Memorial Park, London. Friends may call at Fidler and Frame Funeral Home, Belle today after 7 p.m. on September 9, 1974.¹
