McKenzie - Bill was born in Coalinga, California to parents Daniel and Cora McKenzie. He passed peacefully in the company of friends and family. Ever a source of humor, compassion, love and faith, he is fondly remembered as a testament to his character. He remained strong-willed and resolute until his final moments. Bill was a retired swimming pool contractor and owner of Riviera Pools. He is preceded in death by Patricia McKenzie, his loving wife of 55 years. He is survived by brothers, Allan, and his wife Betty of Prather, Ca, Dan, and his wife Candy of Nipomo, Ca. He is also survived by his daughters, Lynda Nelson, and her husband Bruce, Terri Roones, and her husband Steve; and his son William, and his wife Becky. In addition Bill is survived by six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be held at New Hope Community Church, 4620 E. Nees Ave. in Clovis, Friday, June 3, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. with dinner to follow at the Veterans Memorial Building in Clovis.
