Bonnie loved to travel, shop and jazzercise. She was born August 22, 1946, a daughter of the late Edgar Berman and Irene Richards Crowe. She was also preceded in death by her son, Gregory Scott (Greg) Perdue; and a brother, Johnny Berman Crowe. Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Danny Perdue; her daughter and son-in-law, Deanna and Dean Stone; her two grandchildren, Evan Gregory Stone and Lauren Katherine Stone who were the pride and joy of her life; brother, Lonnie M. Crowe; sister and brother-in-law, Debra and Aaron Goss; her friend since first grade, Patsy Elliott; and many other special friends whom she loved dearly. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel, 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Dr. Patricia Meadows and the Rev. Dr. Russ Merritt officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. on August 26, 2006.5

A resident of Franklin Heights and formerly of Callaway, Mrs. Holt will be remembered for her excellent cooking and baking. Preceding her in death were her husband, James William (Bill) Holt; her parents, Walter Lee and Abigail Richards Guilliams; sister, Doris Clingenpeel and brother, Billy Guilliams. Surviving to cherish her memory are daughters and son-in-law, Diane Holt Hodges and Becky and Richard Law, all of Rocky Mount; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Ashley Holt of Ferrum and Tommy and Sandra Holt of Ridgeway; grandchildren, Donna and Mark Metz of Glade Hill and Darren and Rosemary Hodges of Rocky Mount; great-grandchildren, India and Javin Metz of Glade Hill, Corey Fitzgerald of Salem, Dalton Hodges of Salem and Abigail Rose Hodges of Rocky Mount; sisters and brothers-in-law, Elizabeth and J. P. Bowles and Elsie and David Bowles all of Boones Mill; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Marie Guilliams and Doug and Catherine (Kitten) Guilliams all of Boones Mill; brother-in-law, Winfred Clingenpeel and a number of special nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at 2 p.m., at Fairmont Baptist Church with the Rev. Leonard Castleman officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. on Friday October 12, 2007 at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. and at other times at the home of Ronnie and Ashley Holt , 241 Rustic Ridge Road, Ferrum. Flowers will be welcome or donations in Mrs. Holt 's name may be made to the Fairmont Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1669 Bethlehem Road, Boones Mill, Va. 24065. Mrs. Holt will be sadly missed and remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all who knew her and a person who showed a great concern and compassion and enriched each life she touched. Elsie was a member of Bethany Church of the Brethren and she was a very loving Christian. She gave of herself without question and a hard worker. She worked at Callaway School as a custodian. Mama loved her family and her family always came first no matter how she felt. She worked hard raising her eleven children. She worked doing Whatever needed to be done-farm work, taking care of her kids, grandkids, and garden work. She always had a big garden and she canned hundreds of jars of vegetables and fruits. Funeral services will be conducted from Fairmont Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. on June 12, 2021.3

     Billy Carter Guilliams was buried at Fairmont Baptist Church Cemetery, intersection of Rt. 643 & Rt. 739, Franklin Co., Virginia.2 He was born on September 13, 1939 at Franklin Co., Virginia.9,2,3,4 He married Fedessa Abby Southall on January 31, 1981 at Franklin Co., Virginia.2,4 Billy Carter Guilliams died on December 18, 2006 at Virginia at age 67.9,2 He Billy Carter Guilliams, 67, of Rocky Mount, departed his earthly life and entered into eternal life with his Lord and Savior on Monday, December 18, 2006 after a valiant fight with cancer, with his family by his side. Born September 13, 1939 the son of the late Walter Lee and Abigail Richards Guilliams. Along with his parents, Billy was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Jennifer Lynn Mulkey; a sister, Doris Clingenpeel and a brother-in-law, James William (Bill) Holt. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Fedessa Abby Southall Guilliams; his adoring daughter, Jackie Leigh Dyer; a dearly loved granddaughter who was the light of his life, Ashleigh Elizabeth Haley. He received the title of "The Best PaPa in the World" from the little lady he called PaPa's Girl. Also surviving are stepdaughter, Wanda Berger and husband Harry; stepgranddaughters, Andrea Nicole St.Clair, Stephanie Dawn Berger and Mandi Lynn Hale; step great-grandchildren, Emileigh Berger and Jarrod Cole Phillippe; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy Guilliams and wife Marie and Douglas Guilliams and wife Catherine (Kitten); sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret Holt, Elsie Bowles and husband David and Elizabeth Bowles and husband J.P; brother-in-law, Winfred Clingenpeel; aunts, Lura Webb and husband Nick and Ora Hale; mother-in-law, Vaughine Southall; sister-in-law, Tammy Kingery and husband Steve; and a number of nieces and nephews. Billy served in the United States Army and the National Guard. A retired engineer from Norfork-Southern Railroad with 34 years service. A member of the Fairmont Baptist Church and American Legion Post 96 in Callaway. Billy was a modest man when it came to reveling his talents, being careful not to be boastful, as he was blessed with many. He enjoyed building doll houses for his daughter and doing prize winning wood carving that he shared with his friends. He found much pleasure in the beauty of nature while hunting and fishing. Billy loved music and he shared his musical talents with friends and family. Bluegrass being one of his favorites. He never missed an opportunity to attend a music festival or a neighborhood gathering. His exuberance and energy were boundless and this was never more apparent than on the dance floor. He didn't mind showing anyone a dance step and was always ready to learn a new one from others. Family gatherings delighted his heart. He passionately loved all his family and his many friends. He called so many friend and all were special to him. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at Fairmont Baptist Church at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Leonard Castleman, Pastor Joe Dillon and the Rev. Jack Corvin officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19,2006 at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. and at other times at the home of Abby Guilliams , 93 Tree Brooks Lane, Rocky Mount. The family would like to extend a special heartfelt thank you to all the staff at the VA Medical Center in Salem for their excellent care.
