     Leland Brown II was buried at Beech Grove Cemetery, Eleanor, Putnam Co., West Virginia.2 He was born on May 3, 1999 at West Virginia.4 He died on May 24, 2014 at Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 15.2,4 He On Saturday, May 24, 2014, Leland Arthur Brown II, 15, of St. Albans, passed from this life to the next, unexpectedly and all too soon. Leland's life was marked by a love of sports, participating in athletics from a young age. Leland excelled at football and baseball for St. Albans High School, starting on the varsity team as a freshman. Leland was loved by all those who knew him, as evidenced by the outpouring of support from the community since his untimely passing. Leland enjoyed spending time with his friends, and being a member of the team. He was kind and respectful to everyone, and never met a stranger. Leland was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Elwanda Brown. Surviving to cherish his memory are his parents, Mara Massey Brown and Leland Brown; sister, Marlee Brown of St. Albans; maternal grandparents, Danny and Lois Massey of St. Albans; paternal grandparents, Ronald and Beverly Brown of Eleanor; maternal great-grandfather, Clyde Lee of Cazy; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 30, at King's River Worship Center, 777 Mallory Lane, St. Albans, with Pastor Brad Harvey officiating. Burial will be at Beech Grove Cemetery, Eleanor. on May 28, 2014.2
