Born Nov. 17, 1916, at Streeter, she was the daughter of the late William Webster and Hattie Odie Ellison Hatcher. Mrs. Iddings was a member of Midway Church of Christ in Bluefield. She and her family had formerly owned and operated Hatchers Cafe and Steakhouse in Hinton. Mrs. Iddings was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Iddings, on Aug. 19, 1969; a daughter, Maxine Harford; a grandson, Joseph Charles Baker; two brothers, Archie and Webbie Hatcher; and two sisters, Vera and Georgie Hatcher. Survivors include two daughters, Anna Sue Edmondson of Virginia Beach, Va., and Mary Sue Barker Iddings of Bluefield; a sister, Glenna Charlton of Martinsburg; a granddaughter with whom she had made her home, Deborah Barker Miller and husband, Bruce, of Bluefield; additional grandchildren, John Barker Jr. and wife, Debbie, of Virginia Beach, Charles Franklin Harford and wife, Dawn, of Talcott and Julia Ann Harford of Hinton; nine great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Graveside service and burial will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, at New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery, Marie. on August 18, 2006.2

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, August 8, 2006, at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Ben Hammond. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Burial Park in Hinton. Born March 31, 1933 in Hinton, Tom was the son of the late Clifford "Ram" and Nell Hurt Harford. Mr. Harford was a 1951 graduate of Hinton High School and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He married the love of his life, Maxine Iddings on June 19, 1953. Tom was a retired clerk and crew dispatcher for CSX Transportation Corporation in Hinton and was a member of Central Baptist Church in Hinton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Iddings Harford on August 5, 2006 and by a daughter, Julia Ann Harford on September 28, 2015. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004, from 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2004, at 1 p.m. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with the Rev. Joe Iddings, 63, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Oak Hill, WV, passed away June 30, 2019, from natural causes. Joe was a 1974 graduate of Collins High School in Oak Hill. He then went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in psychology at Marshall University, Huntington, and his master’s degree at WV State. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Galena Iddings, of Oak Hill, Surviving him is his brother, Jim Iddings of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Bob Iddings and wife Mona of St. Albans; niece, Amanda Iddings; nephews , Adam and Daniel Iddings; nephew, Bobby Iddings and wife, Emma (and grandniece, Molly). Joe loved teaching psychology. He was employed by the Bradford School, Columbus, Ohio. He was well respected by his fellow faculty members and his students, who describe his teaching techniques as engaging and inspiring. Interment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, in Oak Hill.3 He was born on April 21, 1956.3 He died on June 30, 2019 at Columbus, Franklin Co., Ohio, at age 63.3

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Janice Chanin Iddings of Bluefield; two sons, Raymond Daniel (Danny) Iddings of Charles Town and Joseph Daniel Iddings II of Trenton, Fla; one daughter, Darlene Bowden of Ronceverte; his stepmother, Mrs. Alice Iddings of Ironton, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Dorse Ann Bowden of Mt. Nebo, Mrs. Juanita Winters of Beckley; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. at Ronald Meadows Funeral Home in Hinton. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery at Marie. Friends may call at Mercer Funeral Home in Bluefield today from 7 to 9 p.m. and at Ronald Meadows Funeral Home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Members of the Order of the Eagles will conduct a service tonight at 8. Members of the Masonic Lodge will serve as pallbearers and conduct graveside rites. on March 13, 1984.5

     Jane Charlotte Hopkins and Joseph Duane "Joe" Iddings were divorced.1 Jane Charlotte Hopkins was buried at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens, Lewisburg, Greenbrier Co., West Virginia.1 She Jane C. Tomlinson, 88, of Lewisburg passed away early Friday morning December 27, 2019 at her residence with her family by her side. Jane was born November 2, 1931 in Ohio and was the daughter of the late Albert E. and Rubina Taylor Hopkins. Mrs. Tomlinson was a retired telephone operator for over 21 years at the Greenbrier Hotel. In the 60’s she owned and operated Fairlea Cleaners; Jane excelled as a seamstress for most of her life, a craft she learned from her mother at an early age from her mother. She was a member of the Lewisburg United Methodist Church. She was a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter # 108, which she was a member for over 50 years. Jane was a past Noble Grand of the Rebekah’s; past President of the BPW; past president of the Tri-County CEO’s and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #26. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Tomlinson; daughter Bessie Virginia Iddings; son Raymond Danny Iddings; 1 sister and 1 brother. Surviving are her daughter Darlene Morgan of Lewisburg; sister Nancy Pedersen of Florida; grandchildren, Melanie (Jason) Haines, Bobbi Morgan, Joetta (Wade) McKelvey, Sonya Morgan, Paula Clark, Jimmy Iddings and Michael McReynolds; 13 great grandchildren, 3 nieces and a special grandson in law Camber Clark. Funeral services for Mrs. Tomlinson will be Monday December 30, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Mrs. Diana Godbey speaking, entombment will follow at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.1 She was born on November 2, 1931 at Ohio.1 As of March 12, 1949,her married name was Iddings.2 She married Joseph Duane "Joe" Iddings, son of Joseph Daniel "Joe" Iddings and Jemima E. Survivors include a son, David Argenbright and his wife, Mickie, of Goldesboro, N.C; a daughter, Doris “Sissie” Bowyer and her husband, Jim, of Mount Nebo; a brother, Jimmy Kidd and his wife, Katie, of Mount Hope; two sisters, Letha Meadows of Beckley and Kathleen Chamberlain of Sophia; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-greatgrandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Mount Hope, with the Revs. Darrell Prater and Richard Perkins officiating. Entombment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Beckley. on December 14, 2000.2
