Other survivors include a great-aunt, Agatha Austin, of Check, Va; aunts, Ethel Frances (Harold) Sheets, of Roanoke, Va., Chlorine Clower and Donna King, of Christiansburg, Va., Eloise (W. Wayne) Gearhart, Lena (Archie) McAlexander, Ocie (Dalton) Thompson, of Pilot, Va., and Jane Ernestine Nichols, of Roanoke, Va; uncles, Ernest (Connie) Martin, of Roanoke, Va., and Vernon (Sandra) Martin, of Little River, S.C; numerous cousins; and her little K-9 companion, "Nikki." Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. on May 20, 2009.7
