     Jacob Ray Crowder was buried at Arlington Park Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Duval Co., Florida.^5,3 He was born on January 17, 1979 at Jacksonville, Duval Co., Florida.^5,3 He married Lesley Cameron “Cammie” Maxwell on August 5, 2000 at Duval Co., Florida.⁴ Jacob Ray Crowder died on April 21, 2005 at Duval Co., Florida, at age 26; Died in a motorcycle accident.^5,3 He Graveside funeral services for Jacob Ray Crowder, 26, will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, April 26, 2005, with Chaplain Clarence Jarrell officiating. Interment will be in Arlington Park Cemetery. A native of Jacksonville, Mr. Crowder died Thursday, April 21, 2005. Crowder, daughter of Ira Abel Crowder and Augusta Laura "Gussie" Burgess.¹ Bailey Roland Whitt was born on May 3, 1911 at Skaggs, Buchanan Co., Virginia.^2,5,3,4 He died on March 31, 1975 at Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio, at age 63.^2,6 He Bailey Whitt, 63, of 1568 US 68 N, Old Town, died Monday at 11 p.m. at Miami Valley Hospital where he had been a patient two weeks. He suffered an extended illness. Mr. Whitt was born in Skaggs, Va., May 3, 1911, the son of Jahile and Ibby Lee Whitt. He was a retired fireman at Wright-Patterson AF Base;, was a World War II veteran and a member of the Eagles Lodge in Xenia. Survivors include his widow, Evelyn; two sisters, Mrs. Patty Cline ande Mrs. Dora Blankenship, both of Welch, W. Va., and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Burcham Funeral Home in Fairborn with the Rev. Clarence Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today, 6 to 9 p.m. on April 1, 1975.²

     Emmett D. Autry was born on May 23, 1903.¹ He married Dora Hazel Iddings, daughter of George Anderson Iddings and Minnie Myrtle Stitt, on April 28, 1956 at Jackson Co., Missouri.¹

     George Washington Tussing was born on February 22, 1924 at Trafford, Pennsylvania.^3,4 He married Adella June Custer, daughter of Raymond Frank "Ray" Custer and Maggie Mae Davis, on January 16, 1944 at Arkansas.^1,2

     Zelda Louise "Lue" Custer Zelda "Lue" Bennett, 70, of Coryell County, passed away Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, at a local hospital. She will be buried next to her husband at the Osage Baptist Cemetery family plot. Family and friends will gather at a future date to celebrate her life. Lue was born Dec. 29, 1940, in Piggott, Ark., to Ray and Maggie Custer. At the age of three, in 1944, she moved with her family to Waco. Lue graduated from Waco High School, Class of 1958, and married James A. Bennett Oct. 1, 1958, in Waco. She attended Eastfield Junior College in Mesquite, and East Texas State University in Commerce, where she graduated in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.Lue also attended Central Texas College, started her graduate studies at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, and took advanced studies at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Lue was active in many areas throughout her life which included Boy Scouts, American Red Cross, Phi Alpha Theta and Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society while at ETSU.She was active in the Waco Gem and Mineral Society as well as Central Texas Archeological Society.Lue had many volunteer aspects of her life including Civil Defense, Boy Scouts of America, American Red Cross, Girl Scouts of America, Little League baseball and football, swimming instructor, cafeteria worker as well as substitute teacher for Mesquite, Forney, Oglesby, McGregor, Gatesville, Crawford and Valley Mills ISDs.Lue was also a full time teacher at the Zuni Indian reservation for several years. She was a religious woman with a love of her church. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Coryell City, and would attend as often as possible until her health deprived her of this. She often enjoyed reading the Gospel and loved to talk about the meanings of the scriptures.Lue was a member of the WELCA and enjoyed the moments she had with her church visitors. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Bennett, in March of 2002; mother, Maggie Mae Custer, in 1994; and father, Ray Frank Custer in 1947. She is survived by her two sons, Michael Glenn and Mark Randall Bennett and wife, Susan; brother, Ray M. Custer and wife, Elizabeth Ann Duke; sister, Adella June Tussing and husband, George W; and three grandchildren, Jennifer Nicole, Casey James and Derrick Lee Bennett. Memorial donations may be made to the Osage Baptist Cemetery Association, 625 CR 308, Oglesby, TX 76561.¹ She was buried at Osage Cemetery, Osage, Coryell Co., Texas.¹ She was born on December 29, 1940 at Piggott, Clay Co., Arkansas.¹ As of October 1, 1958,her married name was Bennett.¹ She married James Alney Bennett on October 1, 1958 at Waco, McLennan Co., Texas.^1,2,4 Zelda Louise "Lue" Custer died on February 21, 2011 at Waco, McLennan Co., Texas, at age 70.¹
