Nannie Rubybelle "Nancy" Conner died on May 6, 2017 at Virginia at age 93.2 She Nannie (Nancy) Rubybelle Conner Andrews, lovingly known as Nana by her family passed away on May 6, 2017. She was born on July 2, 1923 and resided in Roanoke City. She was predeceased by her husband Warren Andrews and parents Isaac and Ila Poff Conner, sisters; Lucy Hibbitts, Mae Burton, Thelma Holland and Ella Mayhew, brothers; George and James Conner and great granddaughter, Katelyn Simpson. She is survived by her children, Linda (Boris) Koloda, Mike (Julia) Andrews, Carlton (Carroll) Andrews, Terri (Rick) Beck and Julie Burrell (Dion). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and sisters; Mary (John) Barbour, Betty Andrews, Mable Smallwood and Norma Jean Thomas as well as many nieces and nephews. The family expresses their appreciation to the staff at Raleigh Court Health and Rehab Services for the excellent care provided to our mom and the opportunity she had to participate in social activities and make new friends. We know she has no more pain and is singing her beloved hymns at the Golden Gate of Heaven. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. on May 8, 2017.2
