She was a lifelong resident of Mercer County and a member of the Presbyterian Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Martha Fitzwater and Mrs. Aileen Sprinkle of Oakvale; five sons, Charles, Joe and George Terry of Ingleside, Woodrow Terry of New Hope Road and Mack Terry of Ocala, Fla; 26 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at Johnston Funeral Chapel of Oakvale, with Rev. Lonnie Hollingsworth and Rev. Fred Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery at Hardy. on October 8, 1966.5

Terry of Bluefield; and two brothers, John Terry of Oakvale and Edgar Terry of Ingleside. Pallbearers will be W. M. Whitman, Robert Sparks, Glenn Blankenship, George Bowling, E. L. Burchett, John Battalingo and Nick Dissibbio. on September 4, 1963.7

Survivors in addition to her husband and mother are two daughters, Barbara Profitt of Anawalt, and Carol Miller of Little Creek; one son, Robert Cunningham of Bluefield; one sister, Ruby Myers of High Point, N.C., six grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel, Bluewell, with Rev. Norman Gray and Rev. R. A. Abner officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton. Pallbearers; Bill McCrosky, Luther McCrosky, Rubin Setrakian, J. C. Hart, Jimmy Cole and Dexter Huff. on March 15, 1984.3

Ruby Virginia Terry Ruby (Terry) Myers, 79, died Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Shalom Park Nursing Home in Aurora, CO. A long-time resident of High Point, NC, Ruby was born on August 28, 1928, in Ada, WV. Ruby was active in her community, participating in and helping to plan educational, self-help, and cultural events for fellow residents of the Wesleyan Homes and members of the Christian Singles group in High Point, NC. Prior to retirement, Ruby established a home-based child care center in which she loved and cared for neighborhood pre-school and primary school age children. Many of these children, particularly Kevin Adkins Wiley and Gregory Elks, stayed in touch with her throughout the years and became a part of her extended family. She also nurtured and mentored a number of her daughters' friends, particularly Regina Easter, and stayed in touch with them throughout their adolescence and adulthood. The daughter of Mae Lena (Brown) and Thomas Clopton Terry, Ruby married Charles Henry (Bill) Myers, now deceased, in 1945. Ruby is survived by her daughter, Jean Williams, of Lone Tree, CO; six grandchildren: Kelly Small, Jonathan Williams, John Cloud, Scott Cloud, Chris Cloud, and Jennifer Hart; and 11 great grandchildren: Taylor Cloud, Chisom Cloud, Teddy Smith, Austin Cloud, Tyler Cloud, Justin Cloud, English Small, Alex Small, Sylvia Williams, Kennedy Williams, and Zane Williams. Ruby was preceded in death by her daughter Sharon Marie Hart. A memorial service will be held at Shalom Park in Aurora, CO, at 11:30 a.m., on August 21, 2008. A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m., on August 31, 2008, at Roselawn Funeral Home in Princeton, WV. Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Grandview Memory Gardens on the Bluefield-Tazewell Road with Johnny Elmore officiating. on January 30, 1997.5
