He was also co-captain of the tennis team and a member of the National Honor Society. He was a sophomore at Radford University, where he was an honor student, studying science, with plans for a teaching career. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and lover of the out of doors. Surviving are his parents, Neil and Julie Roberson; a sister, Amy Roberson, all of the home; grandmothers, Agnes Roberson, Roanoke, Marie Cox, Vinton; aunts and uncles, Linda and Mark Flippo, Roanoke, John and Kathy Cox, Vinton, Wayne and Sarah Roberson, Manor, Texas; a number of cousins and numerous friends. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. on January 9, 1995.1
