John Frank Hayner married Shirley Rice.6 John Frank Hayner was born on June 30, 1923 at Independence, Jackson Co., Missouri.3,7,4 He married Shirley Ruth Feiser on December 3, 1946 at Jackson Co., Missouri.2 John Frank Hayner died on February 15, 2015 at Missouri at age 91.7,4 He John Frank Hayner, 91, of Blue Springs, Mo., passed away peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015. John was born June 30, 1923, to Harry and Leona Hayner. He graduated from Northeast High School in 1939. He worked for Union Pacific Railroad until he joined the Army Air Corps during World War II. Upon his return from the war, John received his degree from Kansas City University and practiced law. In 1960 he was elected to the Missouri House of Representatives and in 1970 was appointed director of the Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority in Independence. John was a member of Free Mason Mt. Washington Lodge No. 614, the South Independence Evening Optimist Club, and VFW Post 1000. He is survived by his brother, Harry Hayner Jr; son, John Gregory Hayner and wife, Christy; daughter, Deborah Jennings; daughter, Rebecca Lambert and husband, Mike; daughter, Cynthia Chen and husband, Ray; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. John is remembered fondly by his many friends for his story-telling, quick wit and kindness. His guidance, generosity and encouragement will be greatly missed by his family and friends. John always offered a humorous anecdote or assistance when needed (often doing so with his trademark mischievous grin). John was too humble to realize that his kindness and generous spirit touched countless lives in his time with us and his contributions to our family and community will be long-lasting. At John's direction, there will be no memorial service. on February 21, 2015.4
