He married Rebecca Hildebrand on May 1, 1948 in Bremerhaven, Germany, where they both were serving in the military. Arthur was preceded in death by his wife Rebecca on June 20, 2006. He retired from Fiat-Allis after 32 years. Arthur was a Master Gardener, and enjoyed traveling, reading, playing piano, singing in choir, and his family. Arthur was a member and past Post Commander for the Athens VFW, a member of the DAV, a Athens school board member, and an editor for the Reporter for Missouri Synod, and was a church a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Sherman. He enlisted in the U.S. Army on September of 1945 and served until July of 1948. He attained rank of Sargent during World War II. Arthur attended a Honor Flight on June of 2011. Arthur attended Concordia Seminary in Springfield. Burial will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield with military rites being accorded. on February 2, 2012.²

Foster, daughter of John Cleveland Foster and Victoria Martin, on January 1, 1943 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.⁵ Edward Thomas "Ed" Rupe died on December 28, 1957 at Oak Hill, Fayette Co., West Virginia, at age 58.^3,1 He Edward Thomas Rupe, 58, Ramsey, died Saturday in the Oak Hill hospital after a long illness. He was formerly an employe of the State Road Commission, and the Fayettevllle Municipal Water Works. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nannie Foster Rupe, and two daughters, Mrs. Paul Diehl, Wyandotte, Mich., and Mrs. George Hawkins, Nevada, O; and four sisters and a brother, all living in Ohio. Four grandchildren also survive. Burial will be made in the Huse Memorial Park. on December 29, 1957.¹

     Harry Lee Myers was buried at Mt. Olive Community Cemetery, Dixie, Fayette Co., West Virginia.^3,4 He was born on May 7, 1912 at Vanetta, Fayette Co., West Virginia; His death certificate has a birth year of 1911.^1,2,3 He married Ida Isabelle "Isabella" Foster, daughter of John Cleveland Foster and Victoria Martin, on August 10, 1935 at Fayetteville, Fayette Co., West Virginia.¹ Harry Lee Myers died on July 4, 1959 at Persinger, Nicholas Co., West Virginia, at age 47.^3,4 He Harry Lee Myers, 48, of Persinger died Saturday morning at his home after a short illness. Surviving are two daughters, Patricia and Joyce, both at home; two sons, Albert of Akron, and Clarence, at home; a half-sister, Mrs. Hazel Roop of Marmet, five half-brothers, Howard Roop of Hawk's Nest, Carl of Brownsville, Bill of Coal Run, Robert of Marmet, and Herbert, addrese unknown. Services will be conducted today in Mount Olive Community Church near Dixie. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. on July 6, 1959.⁴

     Betty Ann Kitchen was buried at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Road, El Paso, El Paso Co., Texas.^7,8,9 Her Social Security Number was 232-32-1925.³ She was born on February 21, 1929 at Gamoca, Fayette Co., West Virginia.^2,3,8,7,10 As of December 6, 1957,her married name was Beauchat.⁴ She married Robert Duane Beauchat on December 6, 1957 at Bexar Co., Texas.⁴ Betty Ann Kitchen died on December 15, 1998 at El Paso, El Paso Co., Texas, at age 69.^{3,7,8,11,9,10} She Betty Ann Beauchat, 69, of El Paso died Tuesday (Dec. 15, 1998). Burial will be in Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Survivors include her daughters, Christa S. Beauchat and Jeanmarie Beauchat; and her goddaughter, Julie Ann Layton. She was a homemaker and had lived in El Paso 28 years. on December 17, 1998.⁹
