He is survived by five daughters, Dorothy Copley of Sauk Village; Sherry (Paul) Cassidy of Arizona, Caroline (Bob) Carter of Alabama, Melody (Mark) Dagstino of Indiana, and Debbie (Mike) Baldaris of Illinois; two sons, Robert of Steger, and Jack (Debra) of Sauk Village; two sisters, Carol Copley of Chicago, and Pat Bohannon; many grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. His wife, Carol M. (nee Emmons), died in 1973. on August 19, 1999.³
