George was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Roanoke and a train enthusiast. Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2002 at Oakey's South Chapel with the Rev. John D. Cochran and the Rev. Charles H. Ward officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park.
