Pauline was a loving mother to two children, a son, Thomas Wesley Furrow and wife, Mary Fralin Furrow; daughter, Carol Furrow Moran and husband, Perry Moran; five grandchildren and spouses, Donna and Rob Colvin, Wanda and Mike Kelly, Teresa and Johnny Moore, Michelle and Tim Dudley and Wesley and Tiffany Moran; five great-grandchildren, Jordan and Jacob Dudley, Chad and Katie Snead, Ashley Snead and Taylor Moran; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Bethel and Clyde Foster; two sisters-in-law, Thelma Furrow and Mildred Guilliams; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Bill and Jean Campbell. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Curtis English officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. The family would like to thank her wonderful friends and caregivers, Beverly and Joe Rutter, Little Josiah and Ashley, CJ Johnson, Carolyn Rakes, Barbara Bradford and Bev Hall. Thanks also to Carilion Hospice of Franklin County, especially Karen Tosh, Fran Smith and Chaplain Rick Poland. Thanks for all the family and friends who came to visit. on July 4, 2009.4

She was born on February 25, 1922, in Callaway, Va. and was preceded in death by her parents, Pled and Myrtle Underwood; her husband of 43 years, Murry Furrow; son, Jimmy Lee Furrow; great-grandson, Scott Cundiff; four sisters; and five brothers. She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie (Kenny) Taylor, Wendy (Robert) Clements; grandchildren, Tena (Mike) Cundiff, Darrell Manning, J.L. (Mary) Furrow, Tracie (Tim) Ayers; great-grandchildren, Josh Cundiff, Michael Cundiff; great-great-grandchildren, Michelle Manning, Christopher Cundiff, Aiden Young; sister, Bevelyne Gibson; lots of nieces and nephews; special adopted daughter, Pam Harman; and special nephew, Danny Jones. She was a very special and loving person to everyone. She worked very hard and was a nursing assistant until she was 86 years old. She loved all her family dearly and will be missed. Graveside services will be held at Franklin Memorial Park. on September 6, 2020.3
