Also surviving are five great-grandchildren, Luke, Mark, Paul, Tim and Hannah Board. She shared a June 1st birthday with Hannah. She is also a stepgreat-grandmother to Justin and Amanda Defee. They all lovingly called her Grandma BB. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and church were the most important things in her life. Bessie was a 69 year member of Red Oak Grove Church of the Brethren. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2009, at Red Oak Grove Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Jimmy Cannaday and the Rev. Hebron Quessenberry officiating. Burial following at Wilson Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home in Floyd, Va. Flowers would be appreciated or donations to Red Oak Church of the Brethren Fellowship Hall Fund. on June 15, 2009.3
