A brother and a sister also preceded her in death. Ruby was a lifelong homemaker and was a member of Turner Memorial Baptist Church. Ruby leaves five loving and devoted children to cherish her memory, four sons, Grover Waldron of Salem, John Waldron and Monroe Waldron both of Roanoke and Mark Waldron of Vinton; and her daughter, Joyce Waldron Dent of Newport News. Also surviving are seven loving grandchildren, Melinda Whitaker, Stephanie Dorsett, Alisha Waldron, Dewayne Waldron, Norman Waldron, Kenneth Dent, and Melissa Dent; and eight great-grandchildren. A service celebrating Ruby's life will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at the Roanoke Chapel of Lotz Funeral Home officiated by the Rev. Carter Sloan. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Ruby's family will receive friends Monday, September 26, 2005 from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Roanoke Chapel of Lotz Funeral Home, 1001 Franklin Road, SW, on September 26, 2005.2

Graham, of Roanoke; five grandchildren Lisa Graham, Michelle Graham, Emmy Graham, Nikkie Graham, all of Roanoke, and Wendy Gray and husband, Jason, of Bedford; three great-grandchildren, Brooke Peters, Serena Lytton and Catrina Gray; several nieces and nephews; and special friends of the family, Ricky Sutherland and Dottie Cadd. The family would like to offer special thanks to Dr. Robert Patten Jr. for the many years of excellent care given to our mother, and also to the staff and volunteers of Good Samaritan Hospice and Meals On Wheels, with a special thank you to Nicole Dingle with whom Mama had a special bond. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2011, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Roberts and Minister Eddie Gallimore officiating. Interment will follow in the Eastside Cemetery, Pearisburg, Va. on July 6, 2011.4
