Helen was a member of the Assembly of God Church from the time she was a small child. She taught Jr. boys class in Sunday school for 20 years. Helen was a LPN at Cushing Regional Hospital for over 30 years and a member of Pioneer Club. After retirement she was a very active member at the Cushing Senior Citizen Center and with the Cushing Hospital Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents Jim and Matilda; husband Raymond; sister, Lois Combs and brother, James Overdeer. She is survived by a sister Theda Smith; sister-in-law Fern Overdeer; her baby boys Loyd, Jim and Vernon; three daughters-in-law Marie Ann, Sandra and Sherry; ten grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends. Helen was a very loving mother and friend to many and will be deeply missed by all. We love and miss you. Services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. in the First Assembly of God Church, Cushing. Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery.3 She was buried at Fairlawn Cemetery, Cushing, Payne Co., Oklahoma.8,3 She was born on January 28, 1918 at Amarillo, Potter Co., Texas.2,7,3,8,4 As of June 14, 1936,her married name was Rice.8 She married Raymond P. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, February 8, 2008, in the Merrimac Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Glennard Quesenberry and the Rev. Jerry Sloss officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
