     William Traylor William owned 3000 acres on the Appomattox River in Chesterfield County, Virginia. The farm must have been located across the river from the Namozine Parish in Amelia County, as William was appointed to operate the Namozine Ferry, for which he was paid an annual stipend of 600 pounds of tobacco. William and Judith Traylor are listed in America's FFV, First Families of Virginia (1607-1675), being among the 17th Century residents of America.¹ He was born circa 1674.¹ He married Judith Archer, daughter of George Archer Jr. and Elizabeth A. Harris, on December 6, 1695 at Oakhurst, near Petersburg, Virginia.¹ William Traylor William Traylor gave his son John 1000 acres of land on Nooning Creek near Wintopock in Chesterfield County, Virginia. For which he paid his father only five pounds sterling. in 1750.¹ He died in February, 1753 at Petersburg, Virginia.¹

Harris in October, 1678 at Henrico Co., Virginia.¹ George Archer Jr. George Archer was listed in the 1705 Rent Rolls of Virginia. He owned land on the north side of the Appomattox River. in 1705.¹ He died in December, 1731 at Bristol Parrish, Henrico Co., Virginia.¹

     Elizabeth A. Harris was born circa 1646.¹ As of October, 1678,her married name was Archer.¹ She married George Archer Jr., son of George Archer and Sarah Elizabeth Wood, in October, 1678 at Henrico Co., Virginia.¹ Elizabeth A. Harris died circa 1704.¹

     George Archer George Archer was sent to Virginia by Justinian Cooper in 1636. He settled in Warrasquenock (now Isle of Wight County). About 1655-1665 George was granted 50 acres on Tunstall's Creek, Bermuda Hundred, in Henrico County (now Chesterfield County), Virginia. His home, Archer's Hall, was erected on this land. He later was granted patents for other land in the vicinity.¹ He married Sarah Elizabeth Wood, daughter of Abraham Wood.¹ George Archer was born circa 1610 at Langdon, Essex, England.¹ He died in 1676 at Cumberland Co., Virginia.¹

     Her married name was Archer.¹ Sarah Elizabeth Wood married George Archer.¹ Sarah Elizabeth Wood was born circa 1630.¹ She died before 1682.¹

     Abraham Wood Captain Wood (later Major General) was one of Virginia's principal explorers and traders in the 17th century, organizing and accompanying several expeditions into the interior of the United States. He resided at Fort Henry, built on the site of present-day Petersburg, Virginia.¹ He was born circa 1613.¹ He died circa 1647.¹

     Louisa McKern was buried at Concord Cemetery, Marion Co., Iowa.⁵ She was born on March 10, 1841 at Iowa.^1,5 As of November 8, 1863,her married name was Conrey.² She married Francis Marion Conrey on November 8, 1863 at Marion Co., Iowa.^2,3 Louisa McKern died on April 17, 1916 at Marion Co., Iowa, at age 75.⁵

     Permelia McKern was buried at Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak, Nuckolls Co., Nebraska.⁴ She was born on October 28, 1843 at Mount Pleasant, Henry Co., Iowa.^5,4 As of December 25, 1860,her married name was Lacey.² She married Daniel Webster "Dan" Lacey on December 25, 1860 at Marion Co., Iowa.^2,4 Permelia McKern died on November 30, 1917 at Oak, Nuckolls Co., Nebraska, at age 74.⁴ She Miss Peruneilu (sic) McHern was born in Mt. Pleasant, Henry county (sic), Iowa, October 28, 1843. Was united in marriage to D.W. Lacy (sic) December 25th, 1860. To this union were born four sons and three daughters. One son and one daughter have preceded her in death. Her companion departed this life four years ago last September. Besides the three sons and two daughters, she leave eighteen grand children and nine great grand children, one sister and two brothers to mourn her loss. Mother Lacy was baptized in the Christian church (sic) some thirty years ago and lived a true Christian life, doing what she could for the betterment of her relatives and friends. For the past twenty-one years she has made her home in Oak. After an illness of three weeks passed away November 30th, 1917, aged 74 years, 1 month and 2 days. Funeral services were held at the home of her son, Wm. Lacy (sic) Saturday, December 1st, and the remains were laid to rest in the Oak cemetery (sic). on December 13, 1917.⁴

     William F. McKern was buried at Concord Cemetery, Marion Co., Iowa.² He was born on July 30, 1845 at Iowa.^1,2 He died on July 4, 1863 at Marion Co., Iowa, at age 17.²

     Elizabeth Anne McKern was buried at Concord Cemetery, Marion Co., Iowa.² She was born on February 11, 1850 at Iowa.^1,2 As of March 12, 1876,her married name was Cloe.⁵ She married James Henry Cloe on March 12, 1876 at Marion Co., Iowa.^2,5 Elizabeth Anne McKern died on July 16, 1882 at Marion Co., Iowa, at age 32.²
