     Herbert Dean O'Neal was born on September 7, 1937 at Kern Co., California.^2,5 He married Joan L. Lindberg on June 22, 1963 at Contra Costa Co., California.³ Herbert Dean O'Neal died on December 13, 2013 at Yuba City, Yuba Co., California, at age 76.^5,4 He O'NEAL - Herbert Dean O'Neal, 76 of Yuba City, CA passed away December 13, 2013. Arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel. on December 17, 2013.⁴

     Vivian Margaret Stephens was born on March 23, 1922 at Bakersfield, Kern Co., California.^2,1 As of circa 1942,her married name was O'Neal.¹ She married Norman B. O'Neal, son of Clyde B. O'Neal and Dorthea Marie Ellingsworth, circa 1942.¹ Vivian Margaret Stephens died on February 10, 2013 at Modesto, Stanislaus Co., California, at age 90.^2,1 She Vivian Margaret O'Neal was born March 23, 1922, in Bakersfield, CA to Fred and Mae Stephens. She passed away Feb 10, 2013 at Casa de Modesto of natural causes. Vivian grew up in Wasco, CA and married her high school sweetheart, Norman O'Neal. They celebrated 70 years of marriage in 2012. They moved to Modesto in 1950. She was a lifelong homemaker who enjoyed bowling, dancing, painting ceramics and collecting teapots which she recently gave away to family as remembrances. She is survived by her husband Norman, son Michael (Carolyn) of Oakdale; daughter Amelia Agee (Bob) of Coos Bay, OR; 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Sons Dennis O'Neal and Kelly O'Neal preceded her in death. on February 17, 2013.¹

     Dennis Wayne O'Neal was buried at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 West McCabe Road, Santa Nella Village, Merced Co., California.^3,4,5 He was born on April 12, 1943 at Shafter, Kern Co., California.^2,3,4,5 He died on December 26, 2004 at Lodi, San Joaquin Co., California, at age 61.^3,4,5 He Dennis Wayne O'Neal, 61, of Galt, died Dec. 26 at a local hospital. He was born April 12, 1943, in Shafter. Mr. O'Neal served in the U.S. Marines from 1961-65, and worked as a fireman in Lodi. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, and enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his sons, Timothy O'Neal and Shawn O'Neal, both of Galt; brother, Michael O'Neal, of Galt; sisters, Amelia Siler and Kelly O'Neal, both of Galt; parents, Norman and Vivant O'Neal, of Modesto; and life partner, Debra Dimick, of Galt. A memorial graveside service is pending at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Anella. Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. on December 29, 2004.⁵

     Kelly Gene O'Neal was born on February 20, 1958 at Stanislaus Co., California.^2,3 He died on November 20, 2007 at Modesto, Stanislaus Co., California, at age 49.^3,4 He Kelly Gene O'Neal, age 49, passed away at Doctors Medical Center on Tuesday, November 20th. He is survived by his parents Norman and Vivian O'Neal, son Joseph O'Neal and granddaughter Lacy O'Neal all of Modesto. Kelly is also survived by his brother Michael O'Neal of Oakdale and his sister Amelia Agee of Coos Bay, Oregon. Kelly was a graduate of Downey High School in Modesto. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, music and playing his guitar. A memorial service is to be held on Monday, November 26th at 2:00 PM at Lakewood Funeral Home, 900 Santa Fe, Hughson, CA. Arrangements are entrusted to Lakewood Funeral Home. on November 24, 2007.⁴

     Delano Blaine Ellis Jr. was buried at Laurel Point Cemetery, Newton, Roane Co., West Virginia.² He was born on June 24, 1955 at Ravenna, Portage Co., Ohio.² He died on May 19, 2017 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 61.² He Delano Blaine Ellis Jr., 61, of Ripley, passed away Friday, May 19, 2017, at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, following an extended illness. He was born June 24, 1955, at Ravenna, Ohio, a son of Fern Davis and the late Delano Blaine Ellis Sr. He graduated from Ripley High School with the Class of 1973 and later worked as a sales consultant for Bert Wolfe Ford. He was also a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Elizabeth. He is survived by son, Adam Paul Ellis of Ripley; daughters, Amanda Winland (Brandon) of Mt. Alto and Andrea Donohew (Chad) of Leon; mother, Fern Joyce(Daniel) of Blacksburg, Va; brother, Timothy Wayne Ellis of Blacksburg; half sister, Heather Danielle Joyce of Blacksburg; grandchildren, Ava Rose Winland, Savannah Joy Winland, Addyson Elaine Donohew, Amelia Reign Donohew and Aziah River Ellis. Also survived by special uncle, Thomas Davis, and special friend, Jane Paxton. Burial will be in the Laurel Point Cemetery, Newton. on May 22, 2017.²

     Timothy Wayne Ellis was buried at Laurel Point Cemetery, Newton, Roane Co., West Virginia.² He was born on October 5, 1958 at Newton, Roane Co., West Virginia.² He died on September 10, 2020 at Virginia at age 61.² He Timothy Wayne Ellis joined the Lord's Army on Thursday, September 10, 2020, after a long battle with short-bowel syndrome and finally pneumonia. On October 5, 1958, Tim was born in Newton, W.Va., the son of Fern and Delano Ellis. His family later moved to Cottageville, W.Va., where his musical talent became apparent and he won a music scholarship to Marshall University. However, he moved to Sumter, S.C., with his mother and eventually finished a BFA in Piano Performance at the University of Texas in San Antonio. Tim worked as a professional musician for 10 years and as the pianist for the Universal City United Methodist Church. He returned to school and earned his Teacher's Certificate. For the next 20 years, Big Tim taught first and second grade at Wiederstein Elementary in Cibolo, Texas where he excelled at teaching and encouraging his students to read. He was especially thankful for his school district's support as he learned to live with short bowel syndrome. Late in his teaching career he was recognized as one of the district's teachers of the year, but shortly thereafter had to medically retire in 2010 after a second blood clot left him with only three feet of small bowel. His proudest moments came when former students wrote, visited or called to thank him for being a positive role model. Tim was not a quitter and adopted a healthy lifestyle that included working out, cycling, and long distance running with friends. Getting himself in top physical condition enabled him to continue teaching and enjoying his family, friends, gardens, pets, and the San Antonio Symphony programs. In 2015, Tim moved from Universal City to Blacksburg, Va., to be closer to family. Tim was a member of the Blacksburg United Methodist Church and while his health permitted enjoyed participating in the church's musical programs and the Blacksburg Master Chorale. Timothy is survived by his mother and stepfather, Fern and Dan Joyce of Blacksburg, Va. and his sister, Heather Dani Joyce and brother-in-law, Mark Williams of Christiansburg, Va. Also, the many aunts, uncles and cousins from the Lee and Nanny Ellis family of Newton, W.Va., and the Tom and Clarice Davis family of Procious, W.Va. Tim was preceded in death by his father, Delano B. Ellis and his brother, D. Blaine Ellis of Ripley, W.Va. The family would like to take this opportunity to especially thank San Antonio based doctors, Steven E. Hearne, Richard Fetchick and Randy Bergman and their staffs for their tireless in taking care of Tim between 1994 and 2015. Another special thanks goes to the Blacksburg Volunteer Rescue Squad who professionally responded to many emergency calls during the past five years. The family is not currently planning a service for Tim and at a later date will bury his ashes next to his father's and brother's graves in the Laurel Point Cemetery, Newton, W.Va. on September 13, 2020.²
