W., Roanoke, Virginia.¹ She was born circa 1952.¹ She died on July 4, 2007 at Virginia.¹ She Patricia Jean Correll, 55, of Roanoke, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2007. Pat was a kind and generous person. She was an artist, and she loved to listen to music. She also looked forward to and loved holidays and birthdays, and had a gift of being able to remember each birthday for her entire extended family. She is survived by her devoted parents, Roy and Phyllis Correll of Roanoke; brother and sister-in-law, David and Brooke Correll of Charleston, S.C; sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy and Bill Sibley of Salem and Amanda and Hugh McCaul of Troutville; and nieces and nephews, Emily, Allison and Liam McCaul, and Roy Correll. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Dr. Ken Scoggins to officiate.      Eugene Thomas "Gene" Ferguson was buried at Williams Cemetery, Chester Gap, Rappahanock Co., Virginia.⁵ He Eugene "Gene" Thomas Ferguson, 81, of Chester Gap, VA, was called to heaven Thursday, September 6, 2018, at the Winchester Medical Center surrounded by family. Mr. Ferguson was born December 16, 1936 in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, son of the late Charles and Eugenia Ferguson. He retired as a construction superintendent. He was member of the NSSA (North South Skirmish Association) since 1974, and also a member of Chester Gap Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Brenda C. Ferguson; two daughters, Kim Bevard and husband Chris of Maryland and Barby Downard and husband Ben of Kentucky; one son, Tommy Ferguson and wife Sherri of Front Royal, VA; and one sister, Sara Ferguson of California. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Dustin, Tommy, Heather, Genie, TJ, Emma, and Alex; eight great grandchildren; and one great grandchild on the way in January 2019.⁴ He was born on December 16, 1936 at Point Pleasant, Ocean Co., New Jersey.^3,5,4 He married Brenda Joyce Perdue, daughter of Ellis Edward Perdue and Ruth Ollie "Marsha" Bowles, on July 27, 1968 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,2,3 Eugene Thomas "Gene" Ferguson died on September 6, 2018 at Winchester, Virginia, at age 81.^5,4

She was born in Virginia, March 16, 1876, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Terry. She had been a resident of Harper Heights for the past five years. Previously she had lived in Tolleytown. Mrs. Castle was a member of the Methodist church. She was preceded in death in 1953 by her husband, Zed Castle. Survivors include four brothers, Aaron Terry of Mount Hope, Freeland Terry and Pierce Terry, both of Surveyor, Dewey Terry of Eccles; three sons, Woodrow Castle of Mullens, John W. Bolt of Harper Heights, and Zedekiah Castle of Clemson, S.C; 13 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. The body is at the Melton Mortuary where friends may call after 4 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Melton Mortuary chapel with Rev. John Richardson in charge. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. on January 15, 1968.⁶

     Esta Pearl Terry Naoma - Funeral services for Esta Pearl Wiley, 62, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in the Free Will Baptist Church at Naoma with the Rev. Willie August in charge. Burial will be in Cantley Cemetery at Rock Creek. Mrs. Wiley died Thursday afternoon in a Beckley hospital after a long illness. Born July 9, 1914, at Surveyor she was a daughter of the late Richard Samuel and Ada Mae Terry. She was a member of the Shumate Chapel at Edwright. He was born March 18, 1928, in Surveyor, WV, and was the son of the late Richard S. and Ada Mae Lemon Terry. Earl was retired from the U.S. Postal Service with 27 years of service as a Mail Contractor. In his spare time Earl enjoyed taking walks, his garden and carpenter work. In addition to his parents Earl was preceded in death by brothers, Ernest, Roy, Denver and Ted Terry, and sisters, Shirley and Esta Terry. A member of the Church of God, he was a lifelong resident of Raleigh County, and a retired coal miner, belonging to local union 7086 of the United Mine Workers of America. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nellie Taylor Bolt; eight sons, Curtis of Middlesboro, Ky., James of Chicago, HL, John Jr., Carl, Robert L., and Billy, all of Cleveland, Ohio, David of Atwater, Ala., and Ralph Bolt of Slab Fork; four daughters, Mrs. Laverne Vance of Rt. 1, Mount Hope, Mrs. Edna Mae Hilton of Helen, Mrs. Christine Bennett of Cleveland, and Miss Geraldine Bolt at home; two half brothers, Woodrow of Sylvester, and Zeddie Cassell of Clemson , S.C; 37 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Melton Mortuary Chapel, with the Rev. Glen Sage officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may call at the mortuary after 5 p.m. today. Pallbearers will be Eugene Terry, Buford Terry, Denver Terry, Ted Terry, Kendall Terry, Norris Terry, Earl Terry, and Harold Webb. on April 28, 1972.⁵
