Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Stockard was born June 2, 1913, in Georgetown, a daughter of Harry and Carrie Hicks McDowell. She married Dean Stockard on Dec. 30, 1934, in Lebanon, Ind. He died March 21, 2004. Survivors include a brother, Gary McDowell of Downers Grove. Mrs. Stockard was a legal secretary at the law firm of Thomas, Mamer & Hoy. She retired in 1976. She attended First United Methodist Church, Champaign. on May 24, 2005.²
