Mildred is survived by her children, Debra Coleman and significant other, Tom Williams of Christiansburg, and Randy Jones and significant other, Lorri Atwell of Max Meadows; step-grandchild, Alex Church; brothers, Junior Hylton and wife Mary, and Earl Hylton; nieces and nephews, Jerry Carr, Kim Long, Monica Hylton, Evans Hylton, and Becky Ballou; several great-nieces and great-nephews; along with her church family. Mildred was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She loved animals and will be missed by her cats, Molly and Sam. She is survived by her husband, Frank Jewell; two daughters, Imogene Cunningham, Salem; Betty Carolyn Jewell, Pilot; four sons, Jesse Irvin Jewell and Douglas Wayne Jewell, both of Pilot; Junior Ralph Jewell, Christiansburg; Larry Ray Jewell, Raleigh, N.C; four sisters, Lillie Bell Hale, Mary Lee Goodman, Josie Young, and Judy Harman; two brothers, Tommy Howard and Lawrence Howard; fifteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd with the Rev. James R. Kittinger and Hugh Edward Howard officiating. Burial will be in Huffville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Maberry Funeral Home. on February 20, 1991.2
