She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Pearl Bandy Hylton; husband, Jack Jones; and sisters, Dorothy Carr and Marie Ballou. Mildred is survived by her children, Debra Coleman and significant other, Tom Williams of Christiansburg, and Randy Jones and significant other, Lorri Atwell of Max Meadows; step-grandchild, Alex Church; brothers, Junior Hylton and wife Mary, and Earl Hylton; nieces and nephews, Jerry Carr, Kim Long, Monica Hylton, Evans Hylton, and Becky Ballou; several great-nieces and great-nephews; along with her church family. Mildred was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She loved animals and will be missed by her cats, Molly and Sam. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Harrison; parents, Charles and Melia Sowers; and sister, Susan Breeden. Linda is survived by her daughter, Angie Craiger (Melvin) of Christiansburg; two grandchildren, Kayla Reedy (Lucas) of Roanoke, and Dalton Reedy of Christiansburg; brother, Howard Sowers; sister, Connie Burk (Richard), all of Christiansburg; brother-in-law, David Breeden of Plum Creek; as well as three special friends, Bo, Pat, and Caleb. He was an inspector for the Virginia Department of Transportation and is survived by his wife, Linda Harrison, four children, Tammy Ayres, Fla; Delbert Harrison, Jr., Pulaski, Joseph Roop, Radford; Angela Cragett, Pilot; three granddaughters , Morgan, Chelsea, Kayla, five sisters, Kay Tolley, Donna Harris, Josie Hollins, Jackie Carico, all of Christiansburg, Mackie Snuffer, W.Va; numerous special friends and relatives. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday from the Richardson-Horne Funeral Chapel in Christiansburg, conducted by the Rev. Jube Burk. Burial will be in the Huffville Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home on February 27, 1997.³

Sussie was born on November 3, 1961, to the late Charles and Melia Sowers. She is preceeded in death by her brother-in-law, Delbert Harrison; and father-in-law, Doug Breeden. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of five years, David Breeden; her sisters and brother-in-law, Connie (Richard) Burk and Linda Harrison; her brother, Howard Sowers; her mother-in-law, Roberta Breeden; her sisters-in-law, Judy Breeden and Pam McManus; her brother-in-law, Robert Breeden Jr; special great-nieces, Kaleigh and Kayla; special great-nephews, Dougie, Daryl, and Dalton; and a special friend, Cathy Journell. The family would like to thank Dr. Harry McCoy and the staff of Blue Ridge Cancer Care, Carilion New River Valley Medical Center and Hospice Care, and Dr. John Leslie.
