Survivors include five children, William Paul Cecil of Christiansburg, Va., Robert L. Cecil and wife, Ila of Odessa, Del., Jean Lilly Hall of Princeton, Earl C. Cecil of Princeton, and James A. Everidge and wife, Norma of Lerona; sisters, Dorothy Harvey and Voni Bell, both of Princeton; brother, Thurman Hall of Princeton; special friend and caregiver, Janet Shrewsbury; 34 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren and 31 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at ll a.m. Saturday from the Bums Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Gary Lamie officiating. Burial will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery on the Halls Ridge Road, Princeton. Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers. on September 29, 2000.8

Crowe, both of Princeton; daughter, Anna Mae Crowe of Princeton; sisters, Minnie Everidge, Dorothy Harvey, and Vonnibell Hall, all of Princeton; brothers, Thurman Hall of Princeton, Clayton Hall of Lynchburg, Va. and Hubert Hall of Warren, Ohio; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on Athens Road in Princeton. The Rev. John King and the Rev. Jim Nofsinger will officiate. Burial will follow at the Hall family cemetery on Halls Ridge Road in Princeton. on December 18, 1995.8

Born July 6, 1915 in Princeton he was the son of the late Dahlas and Maude Gillespie Hall. He was a retired car repairman with the Virginian Railroad and was a former Constable and Deputy Sheriff in Mercer County. In addition to his parents, his wife of seventy two years, Lena Vanessa Gordon Hall preceded him in death in May 2010. He was also preceded in death by six brothers, John Hall, Clarence Hall, Jasper Hall, Clayton Hall, Hubert Hall and Mac Hall; and four sisters, Minnie Cecil Everidge, Letha Crowe Farley, Dorothy Harvey and Vonnie Bell Hall. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Survivors include one daughter, Hilda "Joann" Wilhelm and husband Douglas of Cornelius, NC; one son, Thurman Richard "Rick" Hall and wife Virginia of Iron Station, NC; four grandchildren, Terri Wilhelm Reid and husband Alan, Douglas Richard Wilhelm and wife Lisa, Rebecca Vanessa Wilhelm and Joshua Dahlas Hall; and four great grandchildren, Conner Reid, Ben Reid, Jordan Reid, and Hanna Wilhelm. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM, Sunday, June 13, 2010 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. John King officiating.      Dorothy Frances Hall PRINCETON — Dorothy Frances Hall Harvey, beloved mother and grandmother, left her earthly home to receive her final reward in Heaven during the morning of October 10, 2008. She was the daughter of the late Dal and Maude Gillespie Hall. She was a retired employee of the Celanese Corp. after 38 years of service. She was a woman of tremendous character and strength. She took pride in herself but most of all in her family. She followed the "Golden Rule" everyday and never hesitated to help someone in need. She never complained about her circumstances even in death. She was a great "teacher" with many of life's lessons to learn from. She was a "mother" to many and will be remembered as one of the finest ladies to have ever walked this earth. She was a former member of the Johnston Chapel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garnett Harvey; two sons, Douglas and Donald Ray Hall; two sisters, Letha Farley and Minnie Everidge; six brothers, John, Jasper, Clayton, Hubert, Clarence and Mack Hall; one son-in-law, Roger Perdue; and two granddaughters. She leaves behind to cherish her memory three daughters, Mary Hill and husband Robert of Mt. Juliet, Tenn., Lillie Lawrence and husband Bill of Mt. Juliet, Tenn., and Alice Shires and husband Sam of Lindside; one son, Thomas Harvey of Princeton; brother, Thurman Hall and wife Lena of Princeton; one sister, Vonnie Bell Hall of Princeton; daughter-in-law, Judith Hall of Lashmeet. She leaves behind many heartbroken people who knew her as "Granny". She was the grandmother to ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She leaves behind her lifelong friend, Grace Hylton, many nieces and nephews, and her wonderful caregiver, Tammy Williams. Burial will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery on Halls Ridge Road. Services will Monday, 2 p.m. at the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory in Princeton with the Rev. Jimmy Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. on January 22, 1978.3

Survivors include five children, Manuel Hall and wife Lorraine of Toledo, Ohio, Sandra Reynolds of Lashmeet, Rachel Coan and husband John of Gainesville, Va., Rita Shrewsbury of Gainesville, Rhonda Dunford and husband Keith of Lashmeet; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren. Private graveside services will be held Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006 at the Shutt Cemetery, Wright Mountain near Lashmeet with Pastor Arnold Akers officiating. The Rose family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory & Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
