     Conston Marie Shepherd married Howard Grady Spradlin Sr.1 Her married name was Spradlin. Conston Marie Shepherd was born on August 16, 1926 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.2 She died on April 10, 2017 at Virginia at age 90.1 She In the late hours of Monday, April 10, 2017 our precious mother, Conston Marie Sheppard Spradlin, departed her earthly home holding the hands of her loving daughter Barbara and her devoted son Steve and telling her loved ones at her bed side how much she loved them. She entered heaven's portals to be reunited with the love of her life and husband Howard Grady Spradlin Sr. Also there to greet her were her parents Edward and Neva Sheppard, step mother Helen C. Sheppard, sister Louise Sarver, half-sister Eunice Burke and brothers Archie and Marshall Sheppard. Those left to mourn their loss are her daughter Barbara and Sam Smithwick; son Steve and Sharon Spradlin, who all were her loyal care-givers; grandchildren Sammy and Hope Smithwick, Sheryl Warren, Stacie and Dewayne Quesenberry, Joshua and Veronica Spradlin; great-grandchildren Samantha and Noah Smithwick, Brittany and Makayla Warren, Savannah, Dalton, Cole and Grace Haynes and Lorelei and Grady Spradlin, who all brought a smile to her face daily. She is also survived by her son Howard Spradlin Jr. (Regina) in North Carolina as well as their children Christopher (Sewell) and their children Benjamin, Aaron, Zachary and Ethan; Jason (Julie) and their children, Lennon, Lane and Bodhi, and Jeremy Spradlin. Her sister Claudine Henderson, sister and brother-in-law Frances and Marcelo Flores; half-sister Ruth Moore and half-brothers Everett and Darlene Sheppard, Harvey and Brenda Sheppard, Charles (Jack) and Dorothy Sheppard; and many nieces and nephews also survive her. Visitation will be Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 5 to 8 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the chapel at McCoy Funeral Home with Minister Larry Adkin officiating.      Terry Thomas Curtis was born on August 29, 1933 at Culpeper Co., Virginia.2 He married Nancy Jo Silvers, daughter of Joseph Andrew Silvers and Ada Florence Light, on July 30, 1955 at Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia.1,4,2,3 Terry Thomas Curtis died on October 27, 2015 at Virginia at age 82.2 He Terry Thomas Curtis, 82, of Christiansburg, left the world behind to walk with the Lord on Tuesday, October 27, 2015. He was born on August 29, 1933, in Culpepper County, the son of the late Raymond Wellington Curtis and Anne Virginia Curtis. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sallie Anne Clements. Terry served in both the United States Navy and Air Force. He retired from the Federal Government in June 1992, with the last 8 ½ years working at the Pentagon. Terry was an avid fisherman, loved playing cards and working jigsaw puzzles. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy Jo Silvers Curtis; his daughters, Barbara Harman and her husband Brad, Dianna Sheesley and her husband George, Terri Jo Mangia and her husband Steve; son, Anthony Curtis and his wife Tracy; six grandchildren, Bryce Harman, Bailey Harman Danner and husband Chris, Jana Curtis, Milton Sheesley, Megan Sheesley, and Derek Sheesley; as well as his sister, Bettie Lee Boldridge and her husband John. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 31, 2015, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. in the Chapel, with Ersell Alderman officiating. Interment with full military rites will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Humane Society of Montgomery County, 1183 Flanagan Dr., Christiansburg, VA 24073. on October 30, 2015.2
