He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Blankenship; one brother, Wayne; and four sisters, Anna Mae McCallister, Barbara Pruett, Sandra Pritchard, all of Glasgow. He is also survived by his sister, Sally Bettinger of Louisville, Ky. Also surviving are son, David, of Carrollton, Ohio; one daughter, Nancy Contreal of Akron, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. At his request, he was cremated and his remains left in Alabama. Information is provided by Cooke Funeral Home & Crematorium, Cedar Grove. on September 23, 2007.3

Service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Cooke Funeral Home, Cedar Grove, with the Rev. Kenneth Neiderhiser officiating. Entombment, with mil itary rites by VFW Post 8366, Gauley Bridge, will be in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Glasgow. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. on January 7, 1999.3

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg, with Pastor Mike Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Mineral Wells. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses. on February 25, 2008.1
