     Lou Emma Hungate Lou Emma Poff, 86, of Floyd, VA went to her heavenly home on Friday, February 4, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Vesta (Smith) Hungate; and sister, Mary Alice Hungate. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 58 years, W. Clyde Poff; son, W. Ralph Poff (Angela); granddaughter, Shawnee Poff; grandson, Jeremiah Poff (Valerie); step-grandson, Lucas Graham (Kayla); two precious great-granddaughters, Valynn and Jolene Poff. Lou was a nurse for over 50 years and is most remembered for her kindness and caring for others. She was a cherished member of Grace Baptist Church, where she attended, until her health declined. Interment will follow at Jacksonville Cemetery. The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Kathy Hall for her loyal care over the last several years and the staff of Kindred Hospice for all of their care and compassion for the past 22 months.³ She was buried at Jacksonville Burial Ground, Rt. 8, 0.25 miles south of Floyd, Floyd Co., Virginia.³ She was born on January 26, 1936 at Floyd Co., Virginia.^1,4 She married William Clyde Poff, son of William Clinton Poff and Minnie Avis Bell, on December 20, 1963 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,3 As of December 20, 1963,her married name was Poff.      Rodger Clinton Poff Rodger Clinton Poff of Check, Virginia went home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 29, 2022. Rodger was born on November 4, 1953 to Clinton and Avis Poff. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Avis Poff; his sister, Goldie; and his sister-in-law, Lou Poff. Rodger is survived and missed by his loving wife of 47 years, Bonnie L. Poff; his children, Kathy King (Charlie Abb), Crystal Poff, Tina (Louis) Escobedo, Brad (Solange) Poff; grandchildren, Kimberly (Brian) Beeghly, Joseph (Heather) King, Matthew King, Nathaniel Escobedo, Maggie Escobedo, and Sophia Poff; great-grandchildren, Holden Beeghly, Ella Beeghly and Owen King. Rodger is also survived by brothers, Clyde Poff and Thomas (Ardella) Poff as well as nieces and nephews. Rodger was the happiest when he was surrounded by family and making everyone smile. He will be greatly missed by all that were blessed to have known him. Until we meet again, we will hold you in our hearts and take care of mom for you.⁴ He was born on November 4, 1953 at Virginia.³ He married Bonnie Lou Houchins on August 29, 1975 at Floyd, Floyd Co., Virginia.³ Rodger Clinton Poff died on December 29, 2022 at Virginia at age 69.⁴

     Charles Michael "Mike" King was born on April 7, 1959.¹ He married Brenda Sue Johnson on November 10, 1984 at Volusia Co., Florida.⁴ Charles Michael "Mike" King and Brenda Sue Johnson were divorced on June 6, 1995 at Volusia Co., Florida.⁵ Charles Michael "Mike" King died on March 24, 2015 at Deltona, Volusia Co., Florida, at age 55.³ He DELTONA - Charles Michael "Mike" King, 55, died March 24, 2015. Mr. King was a truck driver. on March 30, 2015.³

     Elizabeth Prillaman was born on January 31, 1827 at Franklin Co., Virginia.¹ She married William Riley Gray, son of Cary Gray and Rebecca Sowder, on October 28, 1851 at Franklin Co., Virginia.^2,1,3 As of October 28, 1851,her married name was Gray.      Bruce Bryon Conner Sr. was buried at Park Cemetery, Bridgeport, Fairfield Co., Connecticut.^3,2 He was born on January 13, 1935 at Church Hollow, McComas Co., West Virginia.^1,3,2 He married Marilyn Julia Minto on April 28, 1956 at Bridgeport, Fairfield Co., Connecticut.^1,3,4,2 Bruce Bryon Conner Sr. died on September 12, 2020 at Bridgeport, Fairfield Co., Connecticut, at age 85.^3,2 He Bruce Byron Conner, 85, of Stratford, passed away on Saturday, Sept 12, at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in McComas, West Virginia, on Jan. 13, 1935 to Ethel Conner, he was pre-deceased by his son Bruce Jr. and grandson David McDowell. An avid Mets fan, he worked for Remington Shaver in Bridgeport for more than 20 years and then Burndy's in Milford before retiring. He's now at peace after fighting a long illness. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 64 years, Marilyn Minto Conner, his children Linda Conner Lambeck, Suzanne McDowell, and Richard Conner; his son-in-laws Mark Lambeck and Magaro Vallejo; his grandchildren Philip Conner (Lorena), Matthew Conner (Tina), Scott Lambeck (Amy), Joe McDowell (Dennisse), Ellyn Marinho (Judson), and Gregory Lambeck. Also, his great-grandchildren Antanette, Ashlee, Philip Jr., Jordan, Aaliyah, Joshua, Justice, Madeline, Bryson, and Everett; his great-great-grandson Tavon. He also leaves behind his beloved dog Bella, cat Midnight, and many friends. A graveside service will be held at Park Cemetery, 620 Lindley Street, Bridgeport. on September 18, 2020.³

Nancy Elizabeth Moore died on April 2, 1922 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia, at age 74.²
