He was preceded in death by his sister and her husband, Mabel and the Rev. Sidney Willis and is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 67 years, Elizabeth Stevenson Collins; his daughters, Patricia Jean Collins and life partner, Judith Lawrence of The Villages, Fla., Mary Elizabeth Floyd and husband, Billy E. Floyd of Bristol, Tenn; his grandchildren, Jeremy Floyd, Billy E. (Chad) Floyd, Jr. and wife, Heather, Matthew Lillibridge and wife, Melissa, Lara Fetting and husband, Mark; his great-grandchildren, Ariana, Braedon and Lewis; his brother, Clyde E. Collins, of North Carolina; and several cousins including Allene Graham of Christiansburg. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at First United Methodist Church, Salem Monday, April 23, 2007 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. D. Michael Houff, the Rev. Dr. Tom Joyce, the Rev. Dr, Frank Shaffer and the Rev. Dr. Basil Hensley officiating. Elizabeth Leighton Stevenson died on March 24, 2008 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 92.4,3,6 She Elizabeth Stevenson Collins, 92, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 24, 2008. She was the daughter of the Rev. Arthur L. and Mary P. Stevenson. Mrs. Collins was born in a Methodist parsonage and her great-grandfather was one of the founders of Washington Street United Methodist Church in Petersburg, Va. She was a 1932 graduate of Salem High School, attended Roanoke College from 1932 to 1934, and a 1936 graduate of Emory and Henry College. She received her Master's Degree from Marshall University. She was a retired Latin Teacher and Remedial Reading Teacher from the Kanawha County, W.Va. Schools. She spent 20 years tutoring children, and she enabled many students to attend college. She was a former officer and member of the General Federation of Women's Club in Charleston, W.Va. She was active in interfaith groups and Church Women United. She was a district officer of the UMW in Charleston, W.Va. Mrs. Collins was a Girl Scout Leader for 30 years in Virginia and West Virginia. She was the Youth Director in Covington Granby Memorial United Methodist Church and Charleston, W.Va. St. Marks United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Claude R. Collins and brother, the Rev. Linwood J. Stevenson. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Jean Collins and life partner, Judith Lawrence, of Rochester, N.Y., and Mary Elizabeth Floyd and husband, Billy E. Floyd, of Bristol, Tenn; grandchildren, Jeremy Floyd, Billy E. Floyd Jr., Matthew Lillibridge and Lara Fetting; four greatgrandchildren; sister, Berkeley S. Stonebraker, of Atlanta, Ga; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at First United Methodist Church in Salem with the Rev. Michael Houff officiating. The committal service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg. The family will be receiving friends at First United Methodist Church in Salem from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emory and Henry College, P.O. Box 950, Emory, Va. 24327 or to the United Methodist Foundation of W.Va., P.O. Box 3811, Charleston, W.Va. 25338. Arrangements by Oakey's North Chapel & Crematory, 540-362-1237. on March 26, 2008.3

Epperly, Jr. and Daniel Neil Epperly; five loving grandchildren, Doris Jennene Matheney, Shanna and David Simmons, Wesley and Chrissy Dove, Missy and Greg Pfaff, and Harmony Ruth Epperly; seven cherished great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and numerous extended family and friends. He was a life-long faithful member and trustee of Oak Grove Church, and he greatly loved worshiping there and enjoyed being in the presence of his fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to extend our gratitude to the staff at Virginia Beach Estates, Allzwell Assisted Living Center and Odyssey Health Care for their loving care and assistance. on July 15, 2005.1

Jack Willie Trump Jack W. Trump, 84, of Christiansburg, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 8, 2021. He was born in Montgomery County to the late Willie and Edith Trump. He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Frankie Sowers. Jack is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 38 years, Nancy Trump; daughter, Antoinette St. Clair (Terry); grandson, Canaan St. Clair; sister, Joyce Sowers; nephew, Greg Sowers (Sharon); great-nieces, Ashley Gusler (Cody), Amber Sowers (Devin); a host of cousins and many friends, including Stacy Keith, who was like a son. Jack spent many years at Angles Grocery where he touched so many lives. He has been at the Dodge Dealership in Floyd since 1993, and a lifelong farmer. Jack was a member and Deacon of Oak Grove Church and an honorary member of Christiansburg Rescue Squad. Visitation will be Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021, at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor David Neal and the Rev. Neal Turner officiating. Frank was a faithful and dedicated servant for the Lord for over 46 years at Oak Grove Church. Surviving are his wife, Joyce Trump Sowers; a son and daughter-in-law, Gregory F. and Sharon Sowers, Riner; granddaughters, Ashley Nicole Sowers and Amber Elizabeth Sowers, Riner; a brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Weeta Sowers, Floyd; sisters and brothers-in-law and their families, Nikola and Joel Eller, Betty and Alvin McNeil, all of Pilot, Viola and Jimmy Tawney, Floyd, Deborah Farley, Blacksburg; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jack and Nancy Trump; a niece and nephew, Annie and Terry StClair; special friends, Aaron and Ocie McNeil, all of Christiansburg. The family wishes to express special thanks to everyone for their acts of kindness shown to us during his time of illness. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2000 at the Christiansburg Church of the Brethren, conducted by the Rev. Eugene Flinchum, the Rev. Dennis Hutchison and the Rev. Mike Reynolds, with burial to follow in Sunset Cemetery. The body will be placed in the Christiansburg Church of the Brethren Monday morning, where friends may call anytime after 12 noon. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday evening at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in his memory to Christiansburg Rescue Squad, Box 176, Christiansburg, Va. 24068. Arrangements are being handled by Horne Funeral Service in Christiansburg. on July 10, 2000.5

She is survived by her son, Steven Dennis Epperly (Cindi); sisters, Norma Kate Cochran, Mary Combs (Rodney); brothers, Franklin Coe (Brenda), David Coe (Linda), Richard Starr, Charles Starr (Shirley); and many nieces and nephews. on March 17, 2024.3
