Mrs. Freida Buckland of Oak Hill; brother, Hollis Epperly of Fayetteville; sisters, Mrs. Flora Bruch of Sunnydale, Calif., Mrs. Hallie Martin of Oak Hill, Mrs. Willie Goff, Mrs. Myrtle Hodge, both of Fayetteville; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Service will be 11 a.m. Monday in Dodd-Payne Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Randolph Johnson and the Rev. Billy Reed Wickline officiating. Burial will be in Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. on June 27, 1976.

1,4 He Lewis Mullins Poff, 74, a retired coal operator and president of Electroplating Co. Inc. in Roanoke, Va., died Monday afternoon in a Bluefield hospital after a brief illness. He resided at 2701 Mt. View Ave., Bluefield. A graduate of Fork Union Military Academy and the University of Richmond, Poff was associated for many years with Peerless Coals, Inc., until his retirement in 1968. He was a deacon and former disbursing treasurer of the First Presbyterian Church. He was a World War I veteran and a 50-year member of Riley Vest Post No. 9 of the American Legion in Bluefield. He had served as post commander Born in Pocahontas, Va., he was a son of the late Perry W. and Nellie Mullins Poff. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Virginia Bell Poff; two sisters, Mrs. R. E. Maxwell and Mrs. William C. Kidd of Bluefield; three nieces and one nephew. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bluefield with Rev. Richard Rouquie officiating. Burial will follow in Monte Vista Park Cemetery. on October 6, 1970.

Mathens, Mrs. Roy Snyder, Mrs. Woodrow Hazelwood all of Princeton; Mrs. Clarence Troy, of Bluefield, and the Misses Virginia and May Poff, at home. He is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. J. W. Jennings, of Pilot, Va; Mrs. O. E. Light, of Danville, Mrs. W. A. Epper, of Scarbro; Mrs. H. B. Tincher, of Fayetteville; B. P. Poff, of Princeton, and Asa Poff, of Norfolk, Va. on July 19, 1939.

Mrs. Light, wife of Otha E. Light of 119 Jordan St., died in Memorial Hospital early yesterday. She had been ill for a year, in critical condition for five months and was admitted to the hospital shortly before her death. A native of Montgomery County, she spent most of her adult life in Danville and was a member of Third Avenue Christian Church. Survivors in addition to her husband of the home include four sons, Oliver Light of Concord, Calif., Stanley Light of Newport News, and Garland and Doye Light, both of Danville; two daughters, Mrs. Mona Thomas and Mrs. H. L. (Beatrice) Shelton, both of Danville; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. on December 11, 1962.
