Liddy is survived by her husband, Emory King, Sr; two daughters, Tina Louise Janney and husband Chris Jay Janney and Christie Lynn Gervase and husband Phillip Hunter Gervase; three grandchildren, Robert Hayden Janney, Hannah Louise Janney and Noah Hunter Gervase; sister, Brenda Lee Stacy and husband Ervin Junior Stacy; brother, Jerry Edward Lawson and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was a member of Church Alive International and loved the Lord very much. She loved to make friends wherever she went, especially on her frequent visits to the Roanoker Restaurant. She adored her family and was always present at her grandchildren’s events. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed. Survivors include five sons, Howard of Baltimore, Md., Herman and Ted, both of Greenville, and Ernest and Homer Long, both of Red Sulphur Springs; two daughters, Mrs. Sarah Hutchinson of Red Sulphur Springs and Mrs. Madeline Meador of Hyattsville, Md; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Rogers of Hinton and Mrs. Newman Long of Craigsville; 24 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Red Sulphur Springs Church with the Rev. Dewitt Furrow and the Rev. Harry Young in charge. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be taken from the Broyles Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown to the home of a son, Homer, at 4 p.m. today and to the church one hour prior to the funeral. Grandsons will granddaughters will carry flowers. on December 26, 1962.4

Mark Haynic in charge. Burial will be in Black Chapel Cemetery at Camden-on-Gauley. Mrs. Long died Wednesday in a Weston hospital. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Zimmerman of Nettie and Mrs. Delsie Kosholo of Leivasy; five sons, Ray, James, Ermon and Leonard, all of Craigsville, and Clarence of Mansfield, Ohio; 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Whit and White Funeral Home in Richwood. on February 14, 1975.5

Ryan McNeilas Lawrence Sr. was buried at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Courthouse Road, Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia.3,8 He was born on September 12, 1907 at Lick Creek, Summers Co., West Virginia.3 He married Ruby Irene Pettrey circa 1929.2 Ryan McNeilas Lawrence Sr. died on March 6, 2006 at Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia, at age 98.3 He PRINCETON — Mr. Ryan M. Lawrence Sr., 98 1/2, of 637 North Wickham Avenue, Princeton, died peacefully Monday evening, March 6, 2006 at the Princeton Community Hospital. Born Sept. 12, 1907, at Lick Creek, he was the son of the late Archie Almond and Virginia Caroline Pettrey Lawrence. Mr. Lawrence had a long and lustrous career with the Virginian, Norfolk & Western Railroads, having worked for over 50 years, retiring in 1974. While with the railroad, he served in many capacities; his last duty was an air brake inspector in the car department. He had served as local chairman for the Railway Carmen of America and Vice General Chairman for the Joint Protective Board for Union. He was a long time member of the Princeton Church of God and the oldest member of the church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his devoted wife in 1993, Ruby Irene Pettrey Lawrence. Also preceding were nine siblings, Russell, Harless, Leslie, Zed, Clarence, Grace, Beulah, Halley and Giles. Survivors: His children, Ryan M. Lawrence Jr. and wife Dollie of Rock, James Lawrence and wife Alene of Roanoke, Va., Frank Lawrence of Princeton, Arlie Lawrence and wife Pat of Greenville, N.C., Rita Price and husband James of Troutman, N.C; 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; six great, great grandchildren; his sister, Hazel Martin of Grove City, Ohio. On Thursday, March 9, 2006 at 1 p.m., we will celebrate the home going of Ryan Lawrence Sr. from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastors Paul Hall and David Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens on the Courthouse Road in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family today from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. on March 9, 2006.3
