He an attack of heart trouble several weeks ago. He thought he was able to return to work Thursday, but he had a second attack and had to be brought home. Woodring had lived in Dayton 30 years. Previously he lived in Preble county and Darke county. When he was a young man the Civil War broke out and he enlisted and served with the hundred day men. He was an employe of the Ohio Rake works for years and was admired alike by his employers and fellow employes. He leaves his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Herman Reichard, of New Berlin, and two stepdaughters. Mrs. Reichard is the wife of a Reformed minister. Burial will be made in Woodland cemetery. on November 7, 1913.3

She was born July 15, 1927 in Eaton to the late Harry and Ruby Woodring. She worked for over 40 years at the Veterans Administration in Dayton, OH. After retirement, she and her husband John spent years in the U.S. Virgin Islands. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband John “Gib” Marshall; sister Caroline Straub. She is survived by her daughter Betsy Marshall (Pamela Lehr) of Eaton; daughter Cindy Othersen of Eaton; son Daren (Karen) Marshall of Eaton; son Aaron (Aimee) Marshall of Huber Heights, OH; grandchildren: Brooke (Brian) Burke, Holly Baker, Lyndsey Othersen, Marah Othersen, Alec (Anna) Marshall, Morgan Marshall and Levi Marshall; great grandchildren: Holden Burke, Carter Burke, Warren Burke, Finnegan Burke, Kaydan Miller, Lyam Galvan, Brody Lancaster, Sumayiah Lancaster, Sorayah Lancaster, Exabien Taulbee, Darius Taulbee and Baylynn and Caylynn Ditmer; and several nieces and nephews. She had been in failing health for some time, but the immediate cause of her death was pneumonia. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mary Mills, of Dayton, Mrs. Herman Reichard, of Walla Walla, Washington and Mrs. Steinmetz, a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren and other relatives. The body was laid to rest in the Woodland cemetery at Dayton. on February 16, 1928.4

Reichard, widow of the former pastor of First Presbyterian church in Walla Walla from 1921 to 1930, died more that a week ago in Portland and was buried last Monday in Grants Pass. Survivors include the two daughters; Mrs. Randall Woods, Eugene, and Mrs. Henry Kruger, Portland, and two grandchildren. Dr. Reichard died four years ago. on April 23, 1949.7
