She attended high school in Gilson and Galesburg. Ruth was a member of the First Christian Church of Knoxville. Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, in Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Rev. David Shreeves will officiate. Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 p.m. Thursday at the chapel. Burial will be in Knoxville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Knox County Nursing Home or to the First Christian Church of Knoxville. on February 16, 2010.3

He retired in 1976. He attended Knoxville High School. He was a member of First Christian Church in Galesburg. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 2257. He had lived in this area his entire life. He served in the Army during WWII from 1941 to 1945 achieving the rank of staff sergeant. He was stationed in the Western Pacific. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007, in Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. The Rev. M.J. Fitch and the Rev. Greg Fitch will officiate. Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel. Burial will be in Knoxville Cemetery, with military rites by Ralph M. Noble American Legion Post 285. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church or the Multiple Sclerosis Society. on October 21, 2007.2

Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Haynes Cemetery in DeLong. The Rev. Jeremy Henson will officiate. There will be no visitation. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Shriners' Hospitals for Children or any charity. on March 9, 2000.2

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Private family burial will be Monday in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Beacon of Hope Hospice. on July 11, 2007.2
