"Bud" Nutter Jr., 83, of Gatewood, West Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Raleigh General Hospital. Bud was born on October 30, 1938, in Gatewood, West Virginia, to the late Leslie and Mary Nutter Sr. Bud was a carpenter by trade and was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Germany. Bud was a long-time member of the Gatewood Baptist Church. He enjoyed cooking for all of his family, friends, and community. He was the middle of five boys and had a large family that loved him very much. In addition to his parents, Bud is preceded in death by his one brother, Lloyd Nutter; nephew Wayne Nutter; two sisters-in-law Sue Nutter and Hilda Nutter. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 62 years, Lois Ann Feazell Nutter of Gatewood, West Virginia; brothers Lewis (Mary Ann) Nutter of Steger, Illinois, Gary Nutter of Marion, Ohio and Morris (Joan) Nutter of Gatewood, West Virginia; brother-in-law Keith (Marilyn) Feazell of Gatewood, West Virginia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many others who loved him. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park. She is survived by her son Lloyd Nutter, Jr. and his wife Jewell (Susie) Ballew Nutter; sisters, Helen and her husband Delmos (Duck) Roberts and Nancy Jane Harris; two nieces, Jane and her husband Keith Thrash and Angela and her husband Andrew Trayer; two step-grand-daughters, Kelli and her husband Christopher Scott Reinig and Andrea and her husband Dustin Lee Beach; six step-great grandchildren, Noah Christian, Audrey Kathryn, and Lillian Virginia Reinig and Magdalena Elizabeth, Fletcher Daniel, and Eleanor Jane Beach. William Barber and Don Patrick Peterson she loved as second sons. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude and deepest appreciation to all the nurses, physician's assistants, therapists, and staff members who took great care of her and especially her buddy Mr. Patton. Graveside Services will be held at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, AL on May 16, 2015.4

Sue was surrounded by her loving family at her home in Marion, Ohio. On March 4, 1944, in Fayetteville, West Virginia, Edrie T. Hollingsworth, Sr. and Delma Agnes (Crookshanks) Hollingsworth welcomed her into this world. On June 14, 1962, she married the love of her life, Gary W. Nutter, Sr. in Fayetteville, West Virginia. Sue was a woman of faith and longtimemember of the Oak Knoll Baptist Chapel where she served over the years as Treasurer and Financial Secretary. She also assisted the Church with nursery care, vacation Bible school andmeals for special events. In addition to her faith Sue, enjoyed spending time with her family. Sue’s hobbies included painting, gardening, and quilting. However, her favorite pastime was spending time with her family, especially her four grandchildren. In 2010, Sue retired from Kable Fulfillment Corporation aftermore than 35 years of service as a data entry specialist. Left to cherish her memory includes her husband Gary, son Jeffrey (Tracy) Nutter, of Marion, OH, daughter-in-law Tammy, Marion, OH, grandchildren Myles Nutter, Jillian Nutter, Jordyn Nutter and Ethan Nutter, all of Marion, OH, sister Josephine Ohlinger, Oak Hill, WV, brother Edrie T. Hollingsworth, Jr. (Linda), San Antonio, TX, sister Brenda (Alexander) Burt, Marion, OH, and sister Catherine Hollingsworth of Dunn Loring, VA, and several nieces and nephews. Sue was preceded in death by her parents Edrie and Delma Hollingsworth, her brother-in-law Nelson Buhatem, her brother-in-law Raymond Ohlinger, her brother Dana Hollingsworth, and her son Gary W. Nutter, Jr. on January 14, 2022.2

On May 24, 1963, Gary Wayne, Sr., and Cumilla J. Hollingsworth welcomed him into the world. On December 24, 1998, he married his precious wife, Tammy, in Marion, OH. Gary worked as a service director for the McDaniel Automotive Group for 21 years. He was a man of faith and attended the Oak Knoll Baptist Chapel. Besides work and church, he loved his family and spending quality time with them. He enjoyed going to his children's sports events and being a supportive father. In his free time, he also enjoyed being outdoors and going fishing and golfing. He had a passion for cars and working on them as well as racing them. Some of his favorite days were spent at the drag races with his buddies. Gary is survived by his parents, wife, son; Myles Nutter, of Marion, OH, daughter; Jordyn Nutter, of Marion, OH, his brother; Jeff (Tracy) Nutter, of Marion, OH, and his niece and nephew; Jillian and Ethan Nutter.4 He was born on May 26, 1963.1,4 He married Tammy S. Roger Dale Sexton Roger Dale Sexton, age 68, of Daniels, WV, passed away at Charleston Area Medical Center General Division on Monday, August 28, 2017. Born on December 26, 1948, at Summerlee, he was the son of the late Rev. Willis E. Sexton and Hester Nutter Sexton. Mr. Sexton was self-employed in fine carpentry and the lawn care industries. He was a member of The Gospel Chapel at Daniels and was a US Army Veteran. Mr. Sexton loved his church family and will be especially remembered for teaching Sunday School and leading singing at the church. Mr. Sexton recently received recognition for being a singer, a teacher, a Board Member, a leader, a worker and a True Disciple of the Lord in his Church. His name has been synonymous with The Gospel Chapel for 40 years. Mr. Sexton also loved spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Sexton. Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his wife, of nearly 45 years, Lois Copley Sexton; his children, Jean Simpson and husband, Joel, of Lake Charles, LA; Allen Sexton and wife, Rachel, of Shady Spring, and Jennifer McNeely and husband, Jeff, of Daniels; two brothers, Russell Sexton and wife, Karen, and Marvin Sexton and his wife, Karen, all of Jackson, Michigan; four sisters, Anna Mae Duty and husband, Richard, of Jackson, Michigan, Doris Ruppert, of Niles, Michigan, Sandra Hankins of Arden, NC, and Esther Oswald and husband, Owen, of Jackson, Michigan; four grandchildren, Joel, Julianne, Maxwell, Ainsley, and another one on the way; a sister-in-law, Joyce Sexton, of Jackson, Michigan, along with many nieces and nephews. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV. Pallbearers will be Mason Smith, Mark Morgan, John Grose, Jeff McNeely, Tim Cochran and Rusty Richardson. Honorary pallbearers will be Joel McNeely and Maxwell Sexton.3 He was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5250 Robert Centre Byrd Drive, Prosperity, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.3 He was born on December 26, 1948 at Summerlee, Fayette Co., West Virginia.1,3 He married Lois Jean Copely on September 30, 1972 at Daniels, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.1,3,4 Roger Dale Sexton died on August 25, 2017 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 68.3
