Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Sheryl; a son, Gerald; a daughter, Lynda; parents, Walter and Pearl Carr; sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Dean Glenn; sister, Shirley Carr, and special cousin, Jayne Moran and husband, Barry. Also surviving are aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, July 19, 1999, at Oakey's South Chapel with the Rev. Maurice Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Restvale Cemetery, Floyd County. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Oakey's South Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Leukemia Society of America or the National Cancer Society. on July 18, 1999.2

George is survived by his daughter, Lee Anne Carr Hartberger and husband, Jamie Lee Hartberger; a son, John Wesley Carr; grandchildren, Jamie Aaron Hartberger, Julia Anne Hartberger, and Jordan Carr. He is also survived by a special sister-in-law, Pearl Carr, many special nephews and nieces including Jesse Carr and Troy Carr, and special friends that were considered as family, Dalton and Joey Smallwood. Interment will follow in the Copper Hill Cemetery, Floyd County. on May 11, 2007.1

Phyllis helped develop the Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center and worked on some of its programming and special holiday displays. She was a member of Southern Colorado Watercolor Society, the Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center, Alpha Mu Delta Society, as well as other community organizations. For several years, she was a member of the Heart and Soul Sculpture program and was active in obtaining an annual excellence award for participating artists through Alpha Mu Delta. Funeral service, 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2007, Montgomery & Steward Chapel, with Pastor Darron Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. on July 23, 2007.3
