     Pearl Beatrice Frost Pearl Beatrice Brimm, 71, of Bluefield, WV, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at her home. Born on July 2, 1945 in Radford, VA, she was a daughter of the late William “Bill” Frost and Pansy Elaine Thomas-Snow. She had lived in Bluefield most of her life and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Eugene Brimm, Sr; stepfather, Alvis Otis Snow, daughter-in-law, Paulette Frost; sister, Alva Snow-Arnold, and a nephew, Tommy Arnold. Survivors include her sons, William Douglas Frost and companion Tina Corvin of Princeton, and Douglas Eugene Brimm, Jr. and girlfriend Ashley of Glenwood; her daughter, Rhonda Michelle Brimm-Dinger and husband Jerry Dinger of Brushfork; her stepdaughter, Barbara Jean Brimm-Smith and James Smith; sixteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; her brothers, Sammy, David, Wesley and James, and Alvis; her sisters, Diane, Vickie, Angie, and Bobbie. Born on July 23, 1943 in Pageton, he was a son of the late Henry Nicholas and Dicie Lorrain Brimm. He had been a resident of Glenwood for 15 years and served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He worked in construction most of his life building several homes and businesses in the Bluewell and Brushfork areas. He was a wonderful husband, father and paw-paw. He had a heart of gold and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sylvia Hurt; and an infant niece, Tonya Brimm. Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Pearl Brimm of the home; sons, William Douglas Frost and wife Paullette of Princeton, Douglas Eugene Brimm, Jr. and girlfriend Ashley of Glenwood; daughters, Barbara Jean Smith and James of Bluefield, Va., Rhonda Michelle Dinger and husband Jerry of Brushfork; brothers, Don Brimm and wife Lil of Vidalia, Ga., Jack Brimm of New York; sister, Barbara Boyd and husband Richard of New York; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several in-laws, nieces and nephews; three children he was grandpa to by heart, Summer, Nicholas, and Cody Sells; loving and caring hospice family including Crystal and Robin; special lil dog, Trouble, who adored him. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Dale Flanery, Richard Jarvis, Joseph Lambert, Tim Hunt, David E. Scott, Adam Snow and Ronald Brimm serving as pallbearers. Military honors will be performed by the WV Honor Guard and the Mercer County Veteran's Council. on January 20, 2010.1
