Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lucy Garrett; her brothers, Frederick and Dr. William Garrett; and her husband of 63 years, Paul Gowen Fazzi. Margaret is survived by her children, Cecilia F. van Eeden, Paul G. Fazzi Jr., and Peter G. Fazzi; her grandchildren, Patricia Lenker (Erik) and Emily King (Marty) and her great-grandchildren, Abigail and Aiden Lenker and Madilyn and Julia King. Margaret was a long-time resident of Lynchburg, retired from Medical Associates of Lynchburg. She loved flowers and was a founding member of the Fort Hill Garden Club; an active member of the Lynchburg Women's Club and was an avid bridge player and a devotee of crossword puzzles. Margaret was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. A graveside service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery. Billie Jo "Jodi" Pippin Billie Jo (Jodi) Pippin, 26, of Roseland, died suddenly Thursday, Oct. 29, 1998 in Piney River. Born in Charlottesville, Jan. 23, 1972, she was a daughter of Billy John Pippin and Betty Gowen Pippin. She had been employed as a Veterinarian's Assistant for Dr. Steuart H. Ligon of Lovingston for many years, was a member of PETA, did private pet sitting and was employed at The Junction in Piney River. In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband, Daniel White; two daughters, Presley Grace Pippin and Skylar Noel Pippin; two brothers, John William Pippin of Tyro and Edward Dean (Dino) Pippin of Dallas, Ga; three sisters, Betty Morris and Bobbie P. Campbell both of Amherst and Kathy Berryman of Roseland; very devoted friend, Massie Huffman of Piney River; in-laws, Clyde Stephenson and Betty and Jim Shelton, five nieces and three nephews. She was preceded in death by a nephew, Bo (Diddle) Pippin and a sister-in-law, Penny Pippin.
